Hungry

Rate this book
Jason is a pianist, happily starving for his art. His best friend Penny is a figure skater, who is starving literally with a well-hidden eating disorder. Over a 30 year period we watch their lives intersect again and again, thru letters and chance meeting, providing the other with the nourishment necessary to succeed.

'Hungry' details that which we starve ourselves of in the pursuit of our dreams, both in the form of food and the company of one another. While Jason's career takes him to heights he previously only dreamed of, Penny finds herself climbing atop an old monument of a by-gone era hidden in the hills above Los Angeles, looking to reconcile where she's been, and dream of what she still might become.
