The guide covers broad concepts to help give direction and reminders to members of the vestry. As someone who is newly elected it shed some light on the responsibilities and goals of the position. When you read it, it becomes apparent this is intended for group discussion and not as much of a guide for new members to the vestry as the preface may lead one to beleive.

An absolutely essential read for anyone serving (or even thinking of serving) on a vestry.
