Food but weird characters
I like the story within this book, a missing brother at first then a dirty cop and who is the killer could be such a good story.
However I must be honest and say Rowen and Violet are weird characters, like very strange thoughts and behaviour.
Theo, Camille and Devin seem to be the only normal characters so far.
I am enjoying it so will see how the rest goes.
I will say though the way the book is written is off putting, the font is quite thick and dark but the chapters don’t start on a new page they literally follow straight after halfway down the page.
I will see how the next book is.

Interesting Story Feels Unfinished
The storyline is interesting but there are a significant amount of grammatical errors as well as the ending doesnt feel finished. The problems at the start of the book dont even feel closer to solved. There was no real completion to any part of the story to feel like I finished book 1. It feels like I finished a chapter and have to buy the next set of chapters

This story line is fantastic!! Love the back and forth between them.

Kinda read it some time ago on a platform. I liked it even though both hero and heroine are kinda weird and plot not moving much. We got interesting points like strange biased detective and obsessive boss and secretory who holds together the whole company. However, there isn't happening much here. But it was an easy read for sure and quite entertaining. Oh, slow burn too.
