Hello!
Thank you for stopping by.
The short story is I was born in Toronto, Canada. When I was 16, my family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and that is where I met my wife, Bev.
We've been married for 43 years and share our home in Southwest Missouri with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 8 chickens, a herd of goats. We have 3 sons and 12 grandchildren that keep us hopping.
I've been known to ride my motorcycle in nice weather, play golf in nice weather, and tend my garden in nice weather. In bad weather, I prefer to stay inside. :)
Thanks to the support of you, our readers, I've been able to devote full time to my writing. Bev does our cover designs.
We hope you our books are enjoyable and you'll let us know.
Please feel free to contact us at: jdalglish7@gmail.com or on Facebook
God Bless, John & Bev

Detective Strong is a great character along with all his colleagues. I'm glad I found this series and as I start the last one I'm certain I'll be hoping for more. An edge of your seat thriller with plenty of suspense. The story and characters are sure to hold your attention and keep it until the final page. Enjoy!

This is another great thriller .

It really keeps you in suspense and just can't put it down. Love John Dalglish's books and this is only the second one I read. His language is easy reading an clean.

Wonderful read!

Another thriller that has me hooked, so no cooking or cleaning till I turn that last page. If you like
Police procedurals that don't need foul language, are exciting , and much better to read than many, then this author's the guy who's books you want to read!

Another good one!!

Let me just say, I Love These Books!! I still wish they were a little longer but you do get everything you'd get in a 500 page novel, just more to the point!

This is a real nail biter!

When there are children involved in a murder mystery it always makes makes my stomach tighten up.
In this book the children aren't part of the murders but somehow they always get drug into situations
that are none of their fault, and I always root for the kids and their parents or guardians.

I have always liked the Dalgish family of authors, illustrator(s), I really appreciate that these books are listed as clean books and they are. Not that they are sickening sweet but that they are believable without being raunchy.

Excellent Book/Series

Jason Strong Series
I have finished the entire series and have nothing but praise for every one of them! It’s wonderful to have an author who doesn’t rely on bad language for “realism” yet peaks interest in both plot and characters. Excellent series; endearing characters; great reads.

Another good one from John Dalglish. Out of the park I found myself concerned with the children.

This is like the news. Jason and Vanessa get a whole lot of help from the law enforcement teams. It's about teamwork.

Another great one. I love these Jason Strong mysteries. A woman is kidnapped. Jason and Vanessa have to solve a crime before suffering.

Clean fiction at its best. No "bad" language and good characters. -love it.

I love the joking of the people

The humor lightens the somber story line. As always the plot is excellent. You form an attachment with the people that males you want more.

terrifying happening

What a horrifying night, that could have eliminated an entire family. It was written so well you can imagine their terror.

Hostage

This is the eleventh book in the Jason Strong series. This one just came out. It was an ok book not as good as most of the series was. It was just ok. I do not know if there will be any more in the series but I hope so.

Lame

Terribly lame. Written like a junior high student. Numerous topographical errors. San Antonio is not in west Texas, it is in south Texas.
