I love the banter between Rodeo and Tachi! Rodeo has his work cut out for him. When Rodeo and Tachi get kidnapped Rodeo needs to use all of his skills and special abilities to find a way to escape.
Even with all the suspense of being kidnapped, I loved the interaction between these two. This is a great action read along with a bit of romance.

Heat story with Tachi and Rodeo. She’s a plus size model, ands he’s undercover to protect her designer. Sure he’s pretending to be a model right along with her. But when they both end up kidnapped together. Things take a serious twist. This was wire the venture and the two of them ending up coming tighter all the while they’re trying to get free from this prison.

Tachi and Rodeo meet in an unusual way. Tachi is a model and Rodeo is undercover to help protect the designer of Tachi's latest show. Rodeo is undercover as a model in the same show. Then all hell breaks loose! Nonstop action and a romantic ending!

Book review:
Lethal Comrade by Jillian David
I have read Jillian's books before but wow this one comes in fast and furious. I loved it. Even though it is the 4th book in her Project Morpheus series and I haven't read the first 3 , I still had a very good idea what was going on. Because Jillian does explain things that happened in previous books , so trust me when I say, I'm definitely going back and reading the first 3 books of super soldiers. This one is about Rodeo and Tachi. Her best friend's family is being targeted by a totally insane evil man, but Tachi still wants to help her friend, so she models down the runway with Rodeo protecting her until they get kidnapped by said evil man. Can Rodeo keep her safe and escape the prison they are put into? With the super soldier virus running through his body, will they have a future anyway? Find out in this really cool series. Thank you Jillian for letting me read this e-ARC. I really enjoyed it. 5 stars 🤩
P.S. Even though it was mostly a serious situation, I did have a couple of favorite lines, here is one of them, "Whatever you say, for the love of little puppies, do not finish that sentence." 😂

Lethal Comrade starts off with Rodeo and Tachi strutting the runway, flirting with style, before slamming into chaos as an explosion rips it all apart. It's an engaging, adrenaline-fueled mission that quickly goes off script. Rodeo has to depend on his wit and strength to outsmart the enemy while using his charm to keep Tachi grounded, protected, and fighting beside him.
Despite the sticky situation they find themselves in, the nonstop banter and sizzling chemistry bring plenty of laughs, even in the direst moments. The emotional struggle is a constant low hum throughout their fight for survival. The team adds warmth, camaraderie, and dark humour while we hold our breath, hoping love does its job.
An exciting, pulse-pounding entertainer.

Book 1 of Project Morpheus: Phase Two. And a FANtastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.
'Trapped in a sadistic prison, Rodeo must shield Tachi, neutralize Lequire’s unnatural army, and resist false hope that a future exists for a smart, beautiful woman and a damaged soldier.'
The characters were very appealing and complex and compelling and complicated and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

A delightful book that takes us into the lives of Rodeo and Tachi. Their journey starts excitingly when they are kidnapped together, and even though Rodeo has special abilities, they still have to find a way to escape because they are not out of danger yet. I enjoyed the sharp remarks back and forth and their bickering. Fantastic story and definitely recommended!

Those who enjoy reading about enhanced soldiers will like this book.
Tachi doesn't expect being kidnapped along side hunky Rodeo or what it takes to survive.

This series continues to suck me in even when so much of it is terrifying. Yes, of course I loved Rodeo and Taschi. Next book when?
