5 AM is simply a magical time to wake up and begin your day. You will achieve mental clarity and simply get things done. There will be no distractions from your phone, social media or even friends and family - everyone is sleeping.
As the title suggests, this is a book for morning risers or wannabe morning risers. It's a super quick read and has certain sensible pointers on morning and night routines. I am a big believer in 'early to bed, early to rise' and as much as I'm a pretty disciplined morning riser, I continue to have my share of struggles with that extra hour of sleep, not shutting down when I need to, taking it a bit easy over the weekend which messes up the body rhythm for a Monday morning.
Overall, a quick, to-the-point read. This is not going to motivate you to wake up at 5 am starting tomorrow. Just like anything, your 'why' needs to be stronger even before you pick up this book and the book can serve as a catalyst. P. S. The book has a few grammatical errors, but since I got it for free on Kindle, I'm ok with it. 😊
Just like with everything else, it is good to go back to the basics and review a few habits we have created. This book allows you to hit the refresh button and will guide you step by step how to stay focused and on track for a better night of sleep, subsequently your sanity and longevity. The pyramid of good health is nutrition, sleep and exercise. Neglecting one of these things is denying yourself from human basic needs. Thanks for writing the book!
I wish I could give this zero stars. I really tried to read it, I promise! The grammar was so horrible that it distracted me from reading. My grammar isn’t the best, but this book is so terrible that I was pausing about 3 times on every page to re-read and try to understand what he was saying. This seems like a scam book that’s full of common sense knowledge while trying to trick people into thinking it’s the REAL “The 5AM Club” by Robin Sharma. It seems this was thrown together within an hour in a desperate attempt to get money from unsuspecting buyers.
Great reading and secure insight in this short book. But requires re ready another time or two. But it early sets you thinking that you can make the changes you need to make in your life as long as you are committed to do so.
I consider this an excellent resource for anyone who wants to improve their life. It's pretty straight forward and the first book which talks about night owls and early larks and differentiates their habits. Beautifully written.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. Wasn't overboard with all the details about getting up in the morning and going to sleep but sticks with the basics and suggests really helpful ways to change your routine and ultimately your life!
This book is pretty concise and provides great practical information or suggestions that can be implemented to make waking early something to strive for.
This book changes the way I start my day and become more alert and active throughout my entire day. A great read for anyone struggling to jumpstart their lives to become the best they can possibly establish a workable routine on a daily routine.
The book was well written and easy to read. The ideas were actionable, which it's rarely the case in the self-help genre. I finished the book and felt I had the information to move toward a life of habits that allow me to wake early and take on the day.
Used this more as motivation to start waking up at 5am again as I feel my days aren't as fulfilled as I want them to be. Forever a slow morning girly!!!
