I'm sorry but I do not like the progression of the story specially when it claims that it's a fantasy book when in all honesty its a teen romance book with a touch of fantasy. The title which has the name of the academy was not even highlighted in the story, like there was no such mentions of what subject they tackle everyday. I'm super intrigued with it's difference with a normal school and I expected it to have like a further narrowed down explanation but in the end I was disappointed.
The title is misleading because well it doesn't have any correlation with the whole storyline, it's just there. It doesn't even focus on the school itself but the protagonist and her fast paced love life.
I thought I bought a book about fantasy but turns out it was just her being in love with a typical bad arrogant boy in most teen romance. I wish all writers who uses the bad boy trope a very respect woman. Really Clauss made out of Xyra knowing it's not her in her body? That's clearly a red flag? Lol, what is respect? A bad boy can be respectful while upholding his reputation on being a "bad boy." I'm tired of non consensual kiss scenes please stop.
I was drawn with the book cover but I guess you shouldn't always just a book by its cover, like in a literal sense.
I don't think I'll give this a read again...I'm sorry. Some people might appreciate this book but I don't.
