A sinfully delicious companion novella to the incomparable Emma V Leech's series - Les Fees: The French Fae Legend.
After discovering Emma's books and being mesmerized by her stories I eagerly searched for, and devoured everything I could find that she had written. With A Dark Design I was NOT disappointed. A short story about one of Emma's leading men, Prince Corin of Alfheim, this is a short story about one of Corin's many dalliance's that severely tests his honour. Can he honour his vow to his best friend, Laen? Or will the temptation be too much? You will have to read the story to find out!!!
Emma is an accomplished writer and never fails to use the written word to draw the reader into her world and keep them there, mesmerized, from the first word to the last. Her characters come to life with just a few strokes of the pen and the reader is left desperately wishing to either be the object of Corin's attention, or to be Corin himself.
While this novella is intended to be a companion story to the series, it could easily be read as a stand alone short story, or at any point during the series.
The cover is absolutely stunning; the setting is beautifully constructed and perfectly described; the characters rich and full; and I was truly left wishing I lived in Corin's world.
I recommend this short story to any adult reader of paranormal fantasy and/or romance.

An honest, touching, and compelling tale that clearly shows there is much more to our gorgeous Prince Corin than his ability to charm the pants off of a...well...of...ANYONE!!! A MUST read for any dark addict and for any fan of the paranormal!

Emma Leech has done it again..... I couldn't put it down and did not want to stop reading. I can not wait to have this WHOLE Series in paperback. Such an amazing Author. I have never been as captivated by a series like this before. All I can say is get ready for Your own Dark Journey lol.. Because once you start reading you are not going to want to stop.

❤️❤️❤️ If you loved the dark boys in The Dark Prince then you will love this prequel. You get so much more background on them and you will learn just what happen between Laen's sister and Corin. It's was a great quick, sexy, smoldering (even funny at times) read. ❤️❤️❤️

This novella is an absolutely thrilling, enticing, gorgeous companion to the French Fae series. The conflict, the action, and the wonderful intimate moments between the characters match well with the rest of the series, and make it the perfect short read for any fan of the series.

Its a nice, short story. Lets you know a little bit more about characters, and their personalities. And, if you have read The dark prince, you will have a softer spot for Corin (in my case).
