The entire MC is crumbling. There are some important decisions that need to be made. War is close and someone needs to take a stand. Will Layne be able to talk Talon into stepping up? How many of the MC will stand behind Talon if he does?

Talon has been kidnapped. He is learning how far down the Club has sunk. Nash thinks the club and the MC is his. It is no longer about the patch member. Nash is stooping to a new low. Talon will have to do something he never thought he would do.

Rissa seems to be playing mind games. She wants to have a little fun with Talon. Will this come between Layne and Talon?

Lexa and Talon are still really close. Since things are getting bad Talon will have to make some decisions on how to keep Lexa safe. I actually like Lexa in this book. She does not seem one that plays games.

Time to take back what it means to be a real MC. With Nash in charge high as a kite and turing the club inside out with kidnapping a patched in member, killing the prospects and finding ways to kill Talon. It. Is. Time. The women that Talon and Layne are so opposites but that won't stop Talon doing both Lexa and Rissa, now Layne is seeing a stripper that he can't stop thinking about. It's a bit confusing for me since I still think of Talon with Everly but I know this is way before she shows up but it's still there and also the same thinking with Shelby for Layne, but I'm trying to block their current storylines. Anyways this is both their p.o.v. and will keep you guessing.

It is great when an author rewards loyal fans with more material on their favorite characters. She has now published three stories that provide a lot of background on Layne and Talon and are available separately or as a collection.

We see the club deteriorate into a nightmare situations, we see just how strong their relationship is and we learn about some of the women that mattered to them in the past. It definitely give you a lot of insight into the characters.

I really enjoyed the stories though it was a little difficult to see them with other women. The author has really created memorable characters that are dangerous but also have heart.

Loving this series! It draws you in and makes you want to be there. Talon and Layne have heart and pride in their MC and they can't stand back while it's torn apart. Bring on book three, I'm ready!
