As he closes in on a dangerous sting operation with his fellow LAPD officers, Jamie also closes in on his quest to win Lucy.

I read this As a bonus story in "The Billionaire's Step - Complete series" edition.
After a traumatic experience, Lucy needed all the help she could get.
However, she also needed someone that would push in the direction she needed to go, not just allow her to feel sorry for herself.
Yes, this a story of heartache and dis-enchantment, but it's also a strength, love and commitment.
