I didn't get a chance to finish this book. I had to return it to the library. I wanted to read this collection because I heard him read a poem of his on a podcast. The poem was called "The Comb-Bearers." The poem is excellent, his book of short-stories is not. The first stories were so...bland. Perhaps it's not fair for me to give it a grade because I haven't read the entire collection, but even if the rest of the book was fantastic, the quality of the early stories would still be held against him. Hopefully I'll get back to it one day. Probably not.
