A new favorite author!
EMP: No Grid No Warning is an excellent, fast-paced survival thriller and one of the best EMP scenarios I’ve read. After the EMP leaves Grace stranded in a frozen wilderness with a young girl, she uses her experience and survival instincts to keep them alive. She finds shelter, searches for food and supplies, deals with the brutal cold, and protects the girl while traveling through dangerous territory.
Grace’s determination, resourcefulness, and courage make the survival story especially compelling. The writing is excellent, the suspense never lets up, and it was hard to put this book down!

The best , ever
It was long, very long. I loved everything about it. I would sit up nights reading with my head hitting my chest thinking 1 I could finally see the bad guys got what they deserved. This story will stay with me for a long g time. The ending , my gosh, Grace lived.. You are a writer with special talents. Thank you.

Stupid Book, Men mostly bad, women heroic
Almost every town taken over by ruthless bad men after an EMP event. Hero, Grace gets captured twice, and the girl she is trying to save gets captured. Rebecca's parents get captured by the same really bad men after doing something really really stupid. I only read 50% of this book before my brain went numb. I like heroes regardless of gender, but most men turning into pimps, slavers, and killers. That's just ridiculous, even if it's to further a plot in this book. Also the parents, John and Mia, preppers by the way, suddenly go dump during their treck to find their daughter. In this story there seems to be a town about every couple miles full of men just waiting to kill some people. One more thing, John and Mia practice going to their bug out cabin 3 times a year, but seemed surprised about every town they come by and don't remember they have to cross a bridge. Do not read this book if you like people being people. No, I would never recommend this book!

Amazing story about faith in one’s self and staying the coarse!
True grit in an unbelievable adventure over coming all odds! Even the end was a surprise! What a story with real people you could swear walked off the novel pages!

Best Apocalypse book EVER
I've read a ton of this kind of books and they were good. But nothing has ever been as Great as this one!!! Wonderfully real people, different story that was so fast paced I couldn't put it down. Incredible ending. I will always wonder how old Rebecca was! All I can say is Wow and Wow!!!

I know, what a headline. I had to think of something to get people’s attention . This is the BEST post apocalypse books I’ve ever read. I read around 125 or more books a year. I’m 64 so I read a lot!! Please,please,please write a sequel. I have to have more of these characters. 🙏🫶

Might be the best book I've ever read.
This book changed me in ways I never expected. It's one of the greats. Should be a classic. Thank you for writing it and bringing me a realization of what God has done for me.

I love these post-apocalyptic survivalist stories. William Stone always write a good one and I think this was the best so far! Loved the characters and the “fly the Rabbit” and Cloud!

Saving Grace
This is one of those books you hate to start because once you start you have to finish. It’s 1:30 and I’m still in my pajamas. Dishes need to be done and laundry is waiting, but I can’t put the book down. Loved it from start to finish! Well written! Enjoy!

William Stone can write! This book had me up at 4:30 am reading. It had everything that human nature would arouse in a crisis. Selfishness, fear, anger, kindness, disgust, cruelty, greed, cowardice, courage, devotion, selflessness, Miracles and grace.

Loved it. Great characters
Very fast paced, engaging storyline and character development. Didn't want to put it down. Loved the character of Grace, Rebecca was awesome.

I was surprised to see so many reviewers saying this was the best survival thriller ever. Perhaps they just need to read a few more? This particular story had way too many filler moments for my liking. We were taken into the past or into the character's minds in ways that just dragged the story out. And more time was spent on the details of the final escape and rescue than on the actual survival skills of the family. So I'd have to say this was an average post-apocalypse tale for me. Maybe this could be thought of as an "action" thriller rather than a survival tale.

The author knows what the reader wants and that is action over descriptions. The flashbacks establish the bonafides of the older woman, a change up from the usual square jawed, combat tested male hero. Yet, it’s not a movie where we can see how the characters look and that was lacking, especially for the principal players. That said, the story moved so quickly that perhaps all the purple prose was unnecessary.

who knows the strength that can be found
First, I love a happy ending. Secondly I read every word with pleasure and somewhat wishing that I could be Grace. I had thought of it at one time. Pooh pooed by my mother I never made it but this story satisfied a lot of my wondering. The unusual plot, the twists and turns kept me rapt, wanting more.

Kept me up at night!
When the EMP hits, the veneer of civilization very quickly disappears and only the prepared people survive. Very well written to the point where I was burning through a gripping and visually well structured tale of a grim future well into the early hours of the morning!
Highly recommended!

This is one fantastic book, I really enjoyed it. It had a lot of stuff going on about the grid failing and airplanes going down, and people trying to get someplace to find their families
