I spent countless hours admiring the pictures of large and small rooms in this, papered and painted and covered to perfection. I learned how to properly paint a room and make curtains from the detailed but compact instructions in the back. My all-time favorite decorating book!

Decided to revisit some of the ideas in this book to redecorate a room in my home. I like the relaxed English style of decorating and there are lots of instructions, diagrams and photos on how to achieve this.
