About The Romance In Central City Box Set:
Some twenty years ago a fire at Panthera Laboratories all but destroyed the company and left Central City in ruins. Today The Vampire Guard stands between the heinous intentions of Panthera’s only surviving founder, Raymond Tyrone, and the safety of Central City’s residents.

This box set includes four novellas, the stories of four powerful members of The Vampire Guard and how each man finds his one true love in the ruins of Central City.

Her Vampire’s Promise
Reade Hayes knows better than any vampire that nothing good ever comes out of Central City. So he isn’t surprised the beautiful blonde he meets in the dive bar is crazy. What does surprise him is how fast she moves, how hard she hits, and the fact she’s wearing a ring he last saw two decades ago on the hand of his dead friend.

Was this the little girl he swore a blood pact to protect? Why did her uncle lie about her death? And what had he done to make her so lethal?

The Vampire’s Partner
In all his years Hunter had never encountered anyone who could resist his vampire influence. Not until Alice. She’s also the only human to ever best him in a sparring match, but that was beginners luck and had nothing to do with the fact that he couldn’t stop thinking of how he wished they were tangled up nude in his bed instead of the floor of a gymnasium. All Hunter can think about is somehow making Alice see him as more than just a partner at work. He’ll give anything to be her partner for life, love and eternity.

A Vampire’s Passion
Brandt is convinced Rachel is deep in the thick of Panthera Laboratories’ plans and doesn’t even realize it. The longer she’s on the street, the closer she comes to being part of the twisted experiments he's there to stop. Try telling her that. She refuses to follow orders, no matter how many times and ways he tries to convince her. Is he losing his power as a vampire? Or is her allure more powerful than his will?

There’s only one way to find out.

His Vampire Past
When Serge realizes his selfish need for acceptance has put Harriet in danger, he’s forced to move her from Central City, to send her as far away from him as possible to keep her safe. But can he live without her near him? Will she forgive him for destroying her life?

This collection of the first four books in the Romance in Central City vampire series are wonderful. They have everything you want in both a series with an overall arch and in romance novella. Each couple that you meet has a different story and connection as the overall arch to fight against the vampire experimenting Panthera Lab. Each story has a wide range of emotions and will make you laugh out loud. I really love this series. Any fan of the vampire genre shouldn't miss it.

They Can't Be Controlled

These are the first four books in a fun entertaining series. Each vampire fell for women who couldn't be compelled by them. Their mates have no problem giving them a piece of their minds when they get angry. These are sensual and funny romances. Enjoy I did.

Read three of these stories individually and enjoyed them very much. Interesting and entertaining with some strange characters and situations, amusing comments that made me chuckle, romance, sex, vampires trapped by Eros and evil machinations.
Her vampire’s promise
In a strange and almost annoying situation Reader found Lawrie, the reason for his distress. Lawrie was full of rage because she had been wronged for too long and seemed she had done something to show others she was worthy. Emotions escalate and soon she was recognized for who she was. But, her uncle Raymond was an evil man ruling an experimental facility named Panthera. Reader needed to get her out as soon as possible but looked like Lawrie would not make things easy and she had demonstrated she was capable to fight for her life. This first book introduced the Guard vampires with their sexy treats and amusing behavior and comments that had me enjoying the action and the characters. Suspense, good and strong emotions and romance.
The Vampire’s Partner
Alice had Hunter smitten. She was his partner, they worked together as a team but he could not help himself, he was totally attracted to her. Alice was human and she had made her way into the Guild. A life of struggles being the town whore’s daughter, had made her tough, strong and decided. Hunter attracted her, way too much and that scared her. He had a bad reputation with women and she needed to show her resolve and win that battle against herself. This was an entertaining story where lovely dogs added to the magic. Romance, suspense a good fight against the evil and two characters hiding their emotions only to lose their time against fate.
A Vampire’s passion
Looking for more information about the experiments conducted at Panthera’s, the members of the Vampire Guard was to patrol with a partner all the time. Difficult duty for Brandt who was maddened by Garrison’s antics. While they were to watching Raymond Tyrone’s movements, they encountered a young woman alone, at night in a dangerous neighbor and ready to enter a dark ally. Trying to compel her to look for safety it was to no avail. Brandt was confused feeling lot of emotions and he didn’t understand why. He seemed the one that was compelled because he could not stay away from the feisty woman that was in imminent danger. Enthralled, disobeying orders and fuming for his lack of control he would keep her safe. This was a When Brandt met Rachel story. Rachel was one of a kind and the one to shake Brandt out of his shell. Wordy and sometimes rambling, she amused me a lot.
