Book 5 obviously needs to be edited and updated. Wrong name for heroine at one point, bad syntax, incomplete sentences, problems abound. Worst of all, after 4 books where Blade's wife is Rachel, she is suddenly Erin, and seems like she is an old woman. The other books were fun, but book 5 was jarring due to its numerous problems. Please edit it and update it.
This took a while for me to read. The first few stories were interesting and held my attention. Book 3 was by far the hardest and least interesting read for me and I struggled to force my way through it. Overall a nice concept but in some instances poorly executed.
I loved them all. I was wondering whether or not their would be anymore since the town is known for both shifters and humans and hold no prejudice. It would be nice to see more and learn about more people
In Maya and Alex's book Rachel who was with Blake has been renamed Erin is this an error or has something happened to Rachel? Otherwise this series is good I have not put it down since starting it
I was quickly enthralled by the story and characters. I fell in love with the small sleepy town of Honeycomb Falls and wish I could really visit it. I hope there are more stories for this series.
DELECTABLY SWEET, DELICIOUSLY CUTE AND DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING !!! Title: The Complete Honeycomb Falls Series Author: Cassie Wright Designation: Compilation of Six Individual Stand Alone Novellas With No Cliffhangers My Rating: FIVE DELICIOUS STARS ***** The Honeycomb Falls Series by Cassie Wright is a deliciously cute and delightfully entertaining series filled to the brim with adventure, humor, passion and paranormal romance. I am a faithful follower and loyal fan of this series and anxiously awaited the release of each and every book. Each book is a stand alone novella and each story includes its very own happy ever after ending. Woo Hoo! No cliffhangers! And now, you can get all six books in one complete compilation! All the stories are exciting, thrilling, passionate, sweet, romantic and exceptionally well written. The characters are all captivating, engaging, endearing, sexy and at times, outrageously funny. Even with all the danger and drama, you can always count on a few good laughs in the Honeycomb Falls Series. Each book features a different couple with some of our favorite characters making occasional cameo appearances in each book. Honeycomb Falls is a small town after all so its only fitting that all the residents know each other. It's hard to play favorites but if I had to choose I would definitely say that the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth books were my favorites. Oops!!! That's all of them! My bad! Sorry, they're all my favorites! I know ya'll have heard of a honey-do list which could mean any number of things in Honeycomb Falls. Well, you simply must add this collection to your honey-you-must-read list! Deliciously cute, seriously sexy and delightfully entertaining!!!
Disappointed at the downhill slope the series ended up taking.
Books 1 and 2 were very well done and I enjoyed them immensely. Book 4 was also well done, though a bit rushed in my opinion.
Book 3 had a good premise. I thought the character development and depth of the main characters (especially Chase) was lacking. There is always a fine line between fast paced and just plain rushed and unfortunately, I found this story to cross that line into the negative.
I also didn't feel any real sense of closure with the killer werewolf part of the story. In fact, it felt like that just got thrown in for filler rather than playing any real important part in the story. Or if it was supposed to be an incentive to have charges dropped against Chase, the overall writing covering that was lacking and ended up feeling more like a leap.
In Book 5 (A Lion After My Own Heart) - I was doing a double take as suddenly I found Blake married to someone named...Erin? What happened to Rachel? I'm assuming Erin was the original name the author was going to go with for Rachel, but it's still highly disconcerting when you've been immersed in the series and town and suddenly a new but not new character is just there. Made the book hard to really immerse myself in when it came to scenes with Erin and Rachel. This was a huge editing mistake that should have been caught right off the bat.
In Book 6 (Don't Judge a Bear by It's Cover) - so...is it Book Cave or Bear Cave? There were a couple other things I know bugged me about the main female character but overall good premise and decent enough story despite being rushed. Especially the fight scene near the end. Felt slapdash and probably one of the least liked things about the story.
The stories in this set take place in the quaint town of Honeycomb falls. A magical romantic read that delights the reader in ever way.
As you take your journey into the world of Honeycomb falls, you'll meet powerful charismatic wolf shifters, bear shifters, a lion shifter who needs to come to terms with who he is, a jaguar shifter who takes pleasure burglarizing the town dwellers, and the curvy, audacious, beautiful females who soothe their souls. Along the way you'll also meet some ruthless characters wreaking havoc...
The stories are filled with amazing impressive characters, humor, danger, some life threatening incidents, fabulous scene descriptions, heart wrenching moments, magic, explosive earth-shattering romance that will leave you awe-struck, and each story has an ending that will melt your heart leaving you wanting more.
Incredible enchanting well written read by a gifted author. Each story had my undivided attention till the end, and I enjoyed every moment. If you enjoy the shifter world of romance this unforgettable set is for you. The possibilities are endless, and fascinating in the world of paranormal. {I received an arc for an honest review}. Without reservations I highly recommend this boxed set and the author.
I really enjoyed your series.have read all of them.was quickly drawn to honey comb ,the setting of the small town was wonderful, reminded me of where I grew up.I loved your stories. Amazing story teller. Can't wait to read some more of this series.thank you so much for sharing your talent
I don't even know why I read the whole dang thing. The intimate scenes are awfully written, the story lines very slim, and I'm pretty sure a couple of the books just recycled scenes. It was like déjà vou.
Great stories. Enjoyed everyone. This is a new author to me. Will be getting more of her box sets. Enjoyed the witch and Blake. Always need more witch shifter storylines
