With such intense competition from his hot friend, can Justin possibly win Kayla’s heart?

To Have and To Hold

Should a decoy bride have in-law problems?

RELATIONS AFTER THE ALTAR…

So, here's the thing. I downloaded this book when I saw a sponsored update on Facebook. It was a three part box set for $4.99. I was expecting three full size, take a day or so to read, books. I didn't realize this was one of those stories that is presented in installments. So, I have three of who knows how many installments. I lost my patience with this story because I thought that what I was reading was it. Thankfully (I guess?) the story continues and the MCs work toward a happy future.

They're going to have to work toward that future without me.

My problem is that I just don't like Kayla and Justin enough to continue with them on their journey. I'm also really not a fan of this installment type model. I would like a full, self contained book, with a beginning, middle, and end. I'm okay with series. I read series all the time. I don't read serial installments. To be completely honest, I think that what I read was more on par with free or $0.99 books. I'm kind of kicking myself for paying so much for a book broken into three parts that I would have to pay to continue.

I feel like I'm being a little unfair because I really enjoyed Reasonable Doubt Full Series by Whitney Gracia Williams. I just didn't like this. :-/

If you want to read a fun and sweet story with a little mystery to it, you should go for this one. And if your a fan of Gina Robinson and you miss the Double Deltsies, you should definitely read this one!

This story revolves around Kayla Lucas, a Double Deltsy in college, and Justin Green, a nerd friend of Kayla's cousin,Dex. They knew each other since college and Justin had a big crush on her. They met again after several years and caught up in a bizarre situation. During Justin's visit to Reno, somehow he got married to Kayla. Justin can't remember how because he was so drunk and Kayla was puking her guts out at her hotel room. No one knows what really happened that night. But, Justin has a reputation to protect so they have to live with it until the situation is resolved.

Justin is such a sweet and thoughtful guy. You can feel that he's head over heels for Kayla and Kayla just doesn't want to welcome that thought. For her, everything will end in a year. But she can't help but to slowly fall for Justin.

Will this bizarre situation turns to HEA? Will they end up together? Who's that mysterious ID theft? Stay tuned for more from Gina Robinson.

Um, well, okay....where to begin.

So Kayal goes away on a business trip. Gets food poisoning and is a victim of identity theft. Comes home to find her job is slowly being phased out and she's served divorce papers from someone she knew in college but hasn't seen since....or has she.

Justin, the soon to be ex-husband(?), is a young brilliant socially awkward genius billionaire. Who with a little spit and polish could be hot.

Nope, just couldn't buy into it. Especially the fact that Kayla is not a gold digger when all she can think about it the ten million she'll get when they get divorced in a year. Some convoluted idea to save his reputation so the stock holders don't go crazy over his quickie, secret marriage. I get the fact she's got a goal to be a fashion buyer for someone big....he happens to own an online fashion site that is trending....but why is she always trying to change him and using the "to impress your peers" line of thinking. Call it a seriously needed make over for a clueless guy and move on.

Oh and let's not forget about her flirting with his hot billionaire friend who just happens to have developed her favorite online game. (She's a secret gamer too.) Um, honey he's introducing you to his peers for the first time and your wedding was only a couple of days ago....stop flirting with the "hot" guy and pay attention to your hubby.

Yea, it all went wrong for me on so many levels. I don't care to find out what happens or if they find their HEA. Not even the cliff hanger of her finding his mother in their apartment saying "We need to talk" makes me want to keep on reading.

I won't give up on the author just this story. For those of you who enjoyed it, I'm glad it just wasn't my cup of tea.

A Wedding To Remember (SM #1)

**Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review**

5 stars!!! First off, Kayla was such a fun character. She was likeable from the start and I enjoyed her introduction in the story. Justin was adorable since he was first mentioned in the book and I love him already! The overall plot is very interesting and I loved it. The ending was left off with a splendid cliffhanger and I'm very glad I have the next installment, because if I didn't, I'd want it immediately. All in all, it was a very enjoyable read with plenty of laughs and I am excited for the next installment!

The Virgin Billionaire (SM #2)

**Copy gifted in exchange for an honest review**

The second part was so sweet! Still as funny as ever, I loved Kayla's character even more. I love getting both point of views because I can get an insight on both Kayla and Justin. Justin is growing on me even more, if that's even possible. I loved the cake topper scene. It was really cute and one of my favorites. The plot is building up, and I'm excited for more. The ending is anther cliffhanger that will keep you eager for more, and I'm glad I have the next part! I can't wait for the rest of this series!

To Have and To Hold (SM #3)

The ending to this installment... I NEED the next installment right now, and I mean right this second. Anyways, I really enjoyed this part. I feel like I was able to see more of Justin and who he really is, and see him grow as a character. He has definitely changed since the beginning of the series. I especially love how close Kayla and Justin are getting and am hoping for even more! I can't wait for the next installment, and to find out who the identity thief is!!!

4 Stars

This series 1-3 was good. Book 1 for me was a slow take off and by the time book 2 came around I was waiting for the explosion between the couple but even as book 3 came around it never really happened for me. The characters felt cold to me except when contact with the two came in then they heated up but, again fizzled and by the time the end of book 3 was read for me I hate to admit but I was bored with it.

Giving this book a 4 star rating for me is solid. I so was hoping for more but it never came. Where was the heat, the emotions between the two in their minds was great but again it fell short. There was a part about Justin's mother that I didn't really get. Why the hold back just say what you want at the beginning and get it over with.

The mystery was fun but to be honest not over the top for me.

This book for me didn't engage me it held me but something was missing.

Kudos to the author

Happy Reading

The story does start out rather sweet. Justin is really a great guy, even though he seriously lacks confidence, and you can't help hoping that this is all going to work out for him. There is a bit of intrigue , and I can't wait for Justin to find and confront the mystery woman who set all the events in motion.

The more I read however, the less I liked Kayla. I found it very difficult to identify with her at all.

Despite that I enjoyed the read and will be reading the rest of the books as I really do want to see Justin get a happily ever after.

I would have preferred this to be one book instead of a series of short stories, I find it really frustrating to end a book at a story peak and have to wait to get the next volume, it feels to me like the story looses continuity.

This was not at all what I thought it was. I think I bought this under the misapprehension that it was 3 seperate standalone novels.
It's not. This is a serial with many, many, MANY parts.
I feel jipped. (Is that a word?)

So, in all honesty, after buying this baby and discovering just exactly what it was that I bought, I haven't even started it!

True.

I could write a long rant outlining my shame, my disappointment, my anger, (and apparently my fast-to-click, but ultimately poor investigatory buying habits,) but instead....
another reviewer has already covered my thoughts exactly but with much more eloquence.

Read It!!

I'm going to write the same review for the whole series. Read, read, read!!! I've been debating about reading this series for a while. I gave it a shot yesterday morning and in less than 24 hours I have read the whole series. Amazing. Read it and you will be happy.

Judging a book... 5/5 for the cover. Perfection with tying in with the story. Perfection for intriguing me. Perfection on how cute they are. Yay!

This fun flirty storytelling gives new meaning to the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas", in this case Reno not Vegas. ID theft makes this story a mystery on unrequited love. Here's to hoping it works out in the end.

Totally not the usual billionaire book !

Book 3 and still their marriage is not consummated! He is kind of young, yet he seems to be the more mature in this "relationship". I am curious to know who is the true bride and what is his secret.

What a good book.

Good but I need all the others to be included as well, but I didn't think that jus. Would find the woman so early on can't wait for the next chapter. Because Kay needs to let go of those jocks and go with her heart.

This series is a fun and easy read. The characters are well developed. Kayla is funny and relatable. Not your average "forgotten" marriage plot. Overall a great read!

I thought this was complete when I downloaded it, but it's a serial. I don't have a lot of patience for serials. Also, it could've used a better copy editor.
