When Marine sniper Riley Kendall retired to live the quiet life, he never thought bullets would start flying through his house. It’s hardly the first time a woman’s wanted to kill him, but it’s the first time one has actually tried.

For assassin Jordan Hunt, just name the target, meet her price, and she’ll take care of the rest. This time, the man visible through her rifle’s viewport is too sexy to kill, but a job’s a job. When she misses and finds herself trussed naked before him, she may find her excitement harder to hide than who hired her.

Randi Everheart

Randi Everheart is an avid author of romance, due in no small part to being a diehard romantic. After all, Randi once wrote a song for the object of a crush and penned a fifty page love letter for another! The same spirit now flows into these stories – hopefully to win your heart!

Randi has a Bachelors of Music in classical guitar but has always been more of a rocker, having released several albums under another name. Tendonitis in both arms ended career plans in music, leading to a new career as a software developer. Today Randi co-owns a software consulting firm and lives in the Maryland suburbs north of D.C., is married, and loves spending time with son Ryan when not writing, playing guitar or golf, or writing smut.

My Review:

After Tristan and Connor, it is now Riley's turn to find love. Being a Marine sniper, Riley Kendall is the most macho but least emotional person among the siblings. So when he falls for the assassin Jordan Hunt, it was bound to be exciting and action filled.

Riley's story is very much more interesting than Tristan's or Connor's. While both the earlier stories had one true love as the underlying concept, this one is more practical and something which is really easy to imagine happening in real life. Jordan and Riley had to really work with each other to convince each other that they are meant to be, and then they also had to work on convincing Riley's family about it too. Nothing was too much easy or too much fairy-tale like in their story. It was all practical and hands on for them.

I liked the boldness and straight forwardness of the plot and the characters. The flow this time was much better than the first two books, although I liked both of them too. It shows how Randi is evolving with her stories and the way of writing. With such tremendous improvement, I am truly looking forward to her next book. Kendall siblings truly are having a very interesting life.

Riley by Randi Everheartis full of intense action that kept me on the edge of my seat.

After enjoying Tristan and Connor stories so much, I was excited to have Riley's. Riley is home from his stint with the Marines, a class A sniper... but now that he is home, what was he supposed to do? Riley is I have to admit my favorite by far. I felt everything that Ms. Everheart was hoping for with this hero, from the emotions of being home, to missing his Marine friends, to the job itself and the uncertainty Riley felt about being home.

Jordan Hunt is an enigma that quite honestly had me intrigued. From her upbringing to her present job as an assassin. Her skills match Riley's as a sniper 100%, but when pushing comes to shove can she take out her biggest target?

Surely Riley never imagined being the target of an assassin after he left his sniper life behind let alone the possibility of falling for the woman who tried to kill him. I loved that this is how he finds his match. Perfect for this man. And Jordan is definitely the woman for him. She is strong and sassy which is exactly what he needed. She is also ready to find someone to be her home, but first they have to find out who is trying to kill Riley and why Jordan herself became a target. Their story is filled with passion and non stop action and I couldn't put it down. I loved their story.

I give Riley 4 hearts!

This is the story of Riley and Jordan. Jordan is hired to kill Riley whilst somoene is hired to kill her. Both Jordan and Riley must work together to ensure their safety whilst eliminating the threat to their lives.
This is a great book that had me hooked from chapter 1. Very highly recommend.

Not the best

My primary rating of a book is how difficult it is to put down. It took me many days and lots of putting this book down. The snail's pace of the story was frustrating. I never really felt the connection between the characters. I always complete a book, however, hoping it will get better and improve my review . This one never did.
