Too much

I was engaged enough in the beginning but this read kept sliding from reality. The author tried to incorporate too many different plots. She must have confused herself because she started mixing up the characters. The editing went right downhill with the story. Shame; it's an interesting story but having completed it, I wouldn't recommend it. Especially since there's a cliffhanger.

This almost became a DNF book it was just awful for me. It was soooo unrealistic! I mean I know it’s fiction but good gracious it was so far fetched and the pace didn’t make any sense and the dialogue was ridiculous and the plot felt like it was so adolescent. This was not my cup of tea whatsoever.

Another new author I can add to my reading list. Just when Amber thought she was going to live in harmony, she gets devastating news. Lionel is a coward, and I pray he gets everything that's coming to him.

Is there a silver lining?

I really enjoyed this story! Amber had such a rough life at the hands of Lionel. I felt bad for her because of tragedy after tragedy that kept happening to her. I was so happy when she experienced her piece of happiness. However, how long will she be able to hold on to it.

Crazy

Just about every character had a touch of "crazy"!! I am saddened that so many insecurities were displayed....especially Amber. Staying with a man while he constantly beats you an belittles you all the time....just sad

Story sounded very familiar

Proof reading was at its lowest in this book. Had some interesting turns but was very predictable. Can not recommend

Wow

This was a great read, I just wish the author would have paid more attention to all the errors throughout the book but overall it was a great read
