BEST-SELLING AUTHOR MARGARET BROWNLEY has penned nearly forty novels and novellas. Her books have won numerous awards, including Readers' Choice and Award of Excellence. She's was a two-time Romance Writers of American RITA® finalist and has written for a TV soap. She is currently working on a new series. Not bad for someone who flunked eighth grade English. Just don't ask her to diagram a sentence.

This is a delightful collection of novellas.

The Dog Days of Summer by Margaret Brownley An enjoyable story that is unique. I found it difficult to put down. I will definitely want to read this again.

The Fourth of July Bride by Amanda Cabot This was a delightful story. I absolutely loved the inspirational thread weaving through out this story. It was a tender story, I will want to read again.

The County Fair Bride by Vickie McDonough A story that talks of the changes in life that come when one puts their faith and trust in the Lord. I fell in love with the characters and will want to read this one again.

The Sunbonnet Bride by Michelle Ule A fantastic story showing the importance of a godly character of generosity to others. I found this story difficult to put down.

Did not Finish this book. I found the book not interesting, the stories were very lame and kind of childish, and even the Christian elements were unrealistic. In one of the stories the guy walks away from the Lord, and he prays and now she can marry him? That is unrealistic!

Don’t recommend this book and will not be finishing it!

Sweet, quick reads to enjoy on a warm summer night. They all made me smile in their own ways. A nice collection of four sweet historical romances.
