Impressive

What I liked the most about this tale is that the author wasted no time lunging me into her beautifully crafted world and colorful characters.

This was a carefully woven fantasy story and I enjoyed it immensely.

Saffron's life is turned upside down when she gets bitten by a strange girl. Nothing can prepare her for the events about to unfold. When the boy of her dreams, and most people's nightmares, falls for her, they quickly realise they are natural enemies by design. The supernatural world has never been so exciting, and so incredibly dangerous. Shifters, vampires and fey get together to fight the corruption that holds the country captive, and only Saffron holds the key. The real question is, whose side are the angels on?

My Review

All Change is the first in the Bite Me series and to be perfectly honest, I don't know if I was ready for this. I knew there were vampires and shifters, but when the other supernatural creatures showed up, I was bowled over. Luckily I love anything supernatural like this so I lapped it up. But I don't think I've read a book with so many supernatural creatures in it before--at least not in book one.

It seemed to get going very quickly. Too quickly in fact. I wanted time to stop so I could take a breath and work out what had happened. But instead, we were whisked on to the next thing. This is because the book is super ambitious and long as it is, and there's no time for dilly-dallying. But I needed some dilly-dallying. I wanted a bit more build up. I wanted Saffron to work out what happened to her bit by bit. This feeling followed me through the book, and I just wanted something more. I wanted every detail Taylor had about the universe she'd created.

I adored the plot, I have to say. Something just kept me reading and reading. However, I wanted a little more from the characters. There were so many it was difficult at times to get to know them, and I would've loved the opportunity to know more about them as they're all so interesting. Though there were so many it was a bit confusing at times.

Saying all this though, I struggled to put it down.

Evaluation

Overall 7/10

All Change was an action-packed, ambitious novel with all your favourite supernatural creatures.

What a first of a series!

I read this book after reading the second of this series, I just couldn't get enough and had to read them all, I wasn't disappointed in this book at all, if anything it was better as it explained everything I'd wondered about in the second, even though all can be read as a stand alone I wondered how everything came about.
I'd not had much to do with paranormal/fantasy books before but the second book got me hooked, I could believe all of this and more actually existed around us without us knowing. What a feeling looking around to see if anyone actually looked like they didn't belong! I love being in the fantasy world of angels, werewolves, fays, vampires and hybrids.
Most happen by accident but then some want to be changed to feel part of something bigger to belong. It's really well written and makes you want to read more, I read the whole book in just over a day, I couldn't pot it down once I picked it up, some parts made me laugh imagining them going through things, but it really drew me in. I love the way it makes you think and let's your imagination go wild, there is also side line romances going on but that makes the stories and the characters.
This book is utterly brilliant in every way, I would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed a good read and well written book even if you've never read a fantasy book. I'm sure you'll love it like I did.

I found this as a free promotion on Amazon, and as always, took advantage of this little freebie. This ended up being a good book, though at the beginning I had my doubts. It starts off slow, a young girl, Saffron in school, who's accidentally bitten by a werewolf and then befriended by the same werewolf. Just so happens, her attacker just happens to be a girl about her age at her school. Anyway, Saffron then meets a vampire, Arthur, and falls in love with him. From there, she is overtaken by the whole supernatural world complete with fairies, angels, etc.
Once you get past the basics, the story picks up quite well. I did end up enjoying it, even though at times it became a little confusing. Several characters make up this story and at times it becomes confusing who everyone actually is. The biggest confusion I had was when a scene changes there is no break between the paragraphs. That would actually be my biggest suggestion for the author. Either double space between scenes or add a "***" or something.
Other than that, I thought it was well written and I did like the characters but thought more could be done with them. I look forward to reading another one of this writer's werewolf stories!

India Taylor’s book, Bite Me: All Change, part of a series, is a very fun read. I sometimes enjoy books about werewolves and vampires, but this book went far beyond others I have read. All Change was so much more than the typical books about trying to find blood and trying to hide your character from others. You might say after reading this, “Werewolves are people too!” because they have real problems, and real friends. I enjoyed seeing how the group befriended each other despite their differences and worked together for a common goal.

India Taylor’s characters are well developed and likeable. Most werewolf and vampire stories have their own system of rules that these mythical creatures live by, and All Change is no exception. There are a few new rules that I haven’t come across before, and since the creatures aren’t real, anything could be true in a book. This book kept my interest and I really appreciated the logical story development.

I really enjoyed this book which is predominantly about vampire and werewolf hybrids, though other supernatural creatures like fey and angels do make an appearance. It is fast moving and exciting, with a pace and story line that keep you turning the pages long after you want to go to bed. I'm really looking forward to reading the next in the series now too. The characters are well developed and like-able, especially the main character Saffron and her dark and brooding Arthur. The rationale behind hybridisation is well thought through and the change process is breath taking and keeps you right on the edge of your seat. I can clearly visualise this book as a film or series. I'm really intrigued to see where it is going next.

Safforn is an average teenage girl, until she is tossed into a domain of werewolves. Saffron must find her way in her new world. She was destined to meet Arthur, a dazzling, yet temperamental and shadowy vampire. Though he is so handsome and alluring there is an air of something equally venomous about him. The two of them are soon on the run when they are threatened by the Council trying to end their existence. Forbidden love … ah … always so tempting and entrancing; this book has it. It's exciting, quick paced, and absorbed my attention up until the last page. I think it would make the perfect suspenseful love story/werewolf movie. Definitely in the same genre as Twilight. Kudos to India Taylor for fashioning a mesmerizing, nail-biting delight.

Werewolves, vampires, and romance! What more can one ask for in a paranormal/fantasy novel?

Hunted by the Council, Saffron and Arthur embark on a dangerous journey, and throughout, they must not touch one another for the poison of it will certainly end their existence. Such a forbidden love reminds me of the fable of Psyche & Cupid, who could not look at one another in daylight as it was forbidden by the gods. It's the ultimate tragedy of unrequited love. It's a venomous kind-of love.

Vivid characters, a hugely imaginative & entertaining story-line, and plenty of heart-thumping action, makes this a must-read for Twilight fans. I think this book will be loved by all, especially young adults. A fantastic start to a series.

If you like an action-packed romance, filled with supernatural creatures then this book is for you. It is a story about a group of teenagers who find themselves on a perilous journey after being pursued by the Council, who are intent on using them for a special hybrid program. I liked this story. At times it was a little unclear because so much takes place but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

I really enjoyed this story !! I love getting to meet all the supernatural characters. I wish we could of had a little more background on them but absolutely loved it . The only reason I gave this book 4 Stars is because I had time following the point of view because it switched so much without telling you whose mind you were in .Other than that I loved it . Great book

It could have been better

The title sounded interesting, but it lacked on emotions, details, and a better development on the storyline. The story somehow is very rushed not much conversation as well it would have been good to introduce the characters better and all is very predictable, very childish written. Sorry but that's not for me.

What a wonderful story! At first it seems like a typical story about a girl who gets bitten by a werewolf and the way that she copes. Then comes a boy at her school who really likes her. One problem, he is a vampire. From there this story takes you on a journey that will mystify and entrance you. I love the characters. Saffron is amazing and so independent. I don't want to spoil anything so I will just say that if you love werewolves, vampires, fallen angels and a fey, you will love this book. I cant wait to read the second book. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Another supernatural story which involves all manner of 'creatures', romance and tension between different factions.

A reasonable plot with a good writing style and flow.

A good YA story for its type, although some of it could have been fleshed out, especially the characters.
