Someday, Max will learn to stop promising people things. This one is my favorite of the tie-in comics so far, though, with its pacing and expansion of the Mad Max world, and the true-to-the-movies way that shit hits the fan.
Maybe it's just me, but when turning the pages, there were times I didn't know which direction to read. Horizontally across two pages? Vertically? Is that a given in this genre? I know I'm not the target audience for this genre, but I like to read a little bit of everything.
This is the series of prequels for Mad Max: Fury Road movie. It revealed some information from Max’s and other heroes’ past and filled several white spots of the movie. I’m glad that I came across this series. Nice easy reading and cool drawing.
Coming off the events of MAX, PART ONE, PART TWO sees Max on a rescue mission: saving a little girl, Glory, from deep inside Buzzard territory. Not only tracking Glory down and saving her for the woman who saved Max's life in PART ONE, Max is there for something else: his V8 Interceptor.
A fast-paced story with lots of action and internal dialogue from Max, it shows how much Max is willing to do for others, despite himself being a wander. A man looking for redemption, a man who cannot escape his past nor avoid the death of others. In a short time, this issue makes you feel for Max, a man who's trying to do good in a world run by the mad.

An improvement over the previous entry, this answers the "what happened to the cities after the apocalypse?" Question. There is a good sense of tragedy and tension throughout the comic, and the ending, although a ripoff of other endings in the movies, was well crafted.
