The first book I've finished in over a year, yikes. I've been reading Drew's blog pretty religiously over the last 8 or 9 years. I really enjoy his trip reports, writing style, and humour so I was excited to read his book when I heard he was releasing one. Having read all his trip reports, the stories in the book were all very familiar to me. But he arranged them in an interesting way and I liked hearing him reflect on a decade of tripping in Algonquin. Overall an enjoyable, quick read. He's definitely influenced the way I approach different aspects of tripping thanks to the lessons he's learned the hard way.
