A quick start to a series of what looks like 5 books - two best friends decide one New Year's Eve to make a list of 5 things they want to accomplish. Number 3 on his list is to tie her up and have sex...and they put that plan into action. But can it be as simple as that and change nothing for them? It doesn't appear so, but that's where book 1 leaves us hanging
Stolen is the first episode in a series where business partners Ben and Robin explore a bondage sexual situation. It is written from Robin's female viewpoint and ends on a cliffhanger to encourage the reader to continue the rest of the story. I knew this from the description, so it was not a surprise although I would rather have a book in one piece rather than piecemeal. It loses something when cut up in bits and pieces in my opinion. The characters were well developed and easy to relate to and understand the emotions and reactions to the situation they created.
I was expecting a much longer book. It was too short. Not very realistic. The words used were more vulgar than sensual. It didn’t seem like a romance book at all. Somewhat disappointed.
I found the sex and bedroom games to be a little too clinical. It would also helped to break the story into chapters to give it a sense of time and allow the reader to adjust to change of place and let the character's transition to the new situation.
A short fun read. I loved the idea of two long time friends experimenting where they could take their friendship. Ben and Robin are friends and business partners. They are spending New Years eve together, which is not anything new, when Robin wants to make a 5 count resolution list. Her list is normal and basic but Ben's is both shocking and flirty. He is a big time flirt and it makes me wonder why things took so long to go this far between the pair. I do have to say it is in poor taste that past multiple relationships are brought up and laughed over. Does every hunky man have to have slept with half a city to prove they are man enough to appear hot to a reader? This reader thinks not, as I do not need my H to be broke in so well to make me impressed. I found it disappointing how distant and quick Ben leaves with no feelings at all towards the step they took. Is he that insensitive and clueless? I believe that Ben is far more affected by Robin than what we have seen and hope that in the future books we get to see into Ben's head as well as Robins. I am still holding out that there is far more to what I have seen so far as I continue on with book 2 in the Stolen series as this ends with a cliffhanger. Enjoy!
I don’t know what I really expected but it felt like for supposed best friends you would be able to feel the connection, I couldn’t! The sex scene seemed stilted like this author had never written one before. This was the first time I read this author it will be the last. Not even going to finish out the series to see how Ben and Robin end. That is something I never do leave a book or series unfinished but I just can’t with this series!
Part 1 of the series of best friends getting sexually involved. Robin and Ben survive their sexual encounter from Ben's new year's resolution ? Where can they lose their business partnership along with their friendship due to this encounter. Read the series and find out
I don't typically leave reviews, but this was trash. The word sex was literally used 10 times on one page, 4 times in one sentence, like come on, expand your vocabulary. (I dont hate the word sex its just annoying in its over use) I almost stopped, but I figured why not, it's only like 30 pages anyway. It's super unrealistic and, to be frank, quite boring. I probably won't continue the series.

It is well written, i love how the writer builds the characters. It has strong sexual content; so if you are someone who loves those kind of romance novel then I definitely recommend this book.
Good but too short in my opinion. I like how it jumps right into action but I definitely wish that it was longer. I’m not a fan of how it ends. I feel like this was just the first chapter not necessarily a whole “book”.
Two best friends Robin & Ben spend all their time together. They have a business together too. When they write 5 new year’s resolutions, everything changes. Ben’s been in love with Robin for a long time. Little did he know his drunken resolution would get him everything he wanted…her.
I would say DNF but it was more like a skim through and then tried again and still I guess it's a DNF just not for me it was to typical and weird idk just no for me
This was hardly even a book. I don't think it qualified as a short story. It was just a quick sexual experimentation with bondage. There really wasn't much to it. I wasn't impressed with the characters, the plot, the world building, or the descriptions. It might work for someone who wants quick erotica, but it wasn't that exciting. It was free, and the only plus is that it was so short. If there was much more to this book, I wouldn't have finished it...
