Hi there! Welcome to my page!

Gosh, what to say about me...

Well I started reading romance novels when I was like 11. I had to hide some of them cause the covers would have made my aunt look at me funny Haha but I loved romance and reading so there! Soon afterwards I had characters in my own head so I started writing on everything I could get my hands on. Notebooks, scratch paper etc. Then a got my own laptop and voila!

I started posting my work on free sites like Quzilla and then Wattpad where I could test my skills out on real readers and hey, I'm not so bad!I have over 103,000 followers/readers and counting. Hate editing my work though. Bleh. I'm a storyteller not an editor! lol Of course my writing continues to evolve so hopefully when I finally publish for real, I can give myself a pat on the back for a job well done :D

I live in Washington State where it's green and rainy. And no, I haven't seen any Edward Cullens or Jacob Blacks wandering around ;)

I'm currently working on getting my humor/romance novel/novella "Big Fat Liar" ready to get published through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Gotta edit (ugh!) and add more chapters first. Wish me luck! ^_^

Nice little story!

Callie Picket, the-fat-girl-next-door has a big fat secret. Well, a secret she's been successfully hiding from her oh so sexy apartment neighbor Chris Walker. In their first meeting, he mistakes her for a fat guy and she does nothing to correct him.

I didn’t think I would like this as much as I did. However it was pretty funny even though you feel pretty bad for Callie at first when Christopher mistakes her for a guy. The author is pretty smart about it though, you don’t feel too bad for her for very long since she feels bad enough for herself to take that burden off the reader.

Also since she propagates the deception and doesn’t tell him she is a girl as they become best friends and confidants it is really her fault for falling for him. Though as a girl, I can see her reasons, not only does she have no friends at all and wants someone to talk to, but to have a male friend who will be open with her is something not every girl gets.

My sister used to have a male best friend and I envied her until later in life when I got one. It is really nice to have someone of the opposite sex that you can talk about anything with. Though Callie really can’t talk about anything since she is hiding so much. But Christopher tells her all about his dates and everything. Those stories are pretty funny.

I’m interested to see how the next book goes now that Cal has agreed to start trying to live a healthier life. It should be good. Also it seems that Christopher might have something painful he is not sharing as well. There are three short books this firs one was free and the other two are available on Kindle Unlimited so I am onto the next.

Do you remember this bomb?

description

description

Basically add some gender confusion, and you've read the book.

Anyway...

Now listen, I'm all about the curves on women. I'm a three kids-to-life 5'10 and 170 lbs woman. Ain't no shame in my game~:)

Overweight... Ok. Pooch belly.. Ok. Stretch marks... Ok. Love handles... Ok.

But, you tell me this chick is 100 mfing pounds overweight & wears a 2x clothes. She is depressed, self-loathing, whinny, lying mess of a woman. She's emotionally everything that you, as a woman, should strive not to be.

Then, you tell me her love interest is a sex God, ripped up, charming, confident, handsome, sweet Adonis who can't even tell she's an effing woman.

And, you expect me to do what ~?!?!?~ exactly with that romantically?!?

Beauty is from the inside out, yes. But this chick is a mess inside to out to the point she's a hermit who doesn't even look like a woman and is so desperate for human interaction with this stud of a man that she's willing to pretend to be a man just so that he doesn't run away from her.

Again, I ask ... what I'm supposed to romantically do with this kind of character.

This is a book targeted toward severely overweight women with zero self-esteem and zero self-respect.

Promising start. However I couldn't find any information about when the next title will be available.
To publish a book in very small parts is (imo) a stupid idea.

(Minor Spoiler Alert Maybe) Okay, so I read Big Fat Liar when it was free on Wattpad. Being a high school student, I decided to do my huge book report project on it (with my teacher's permission). I honestly loved it. I highly recommend it.
Here's why:
1) The main character is strongly relatable. She was easy to empathize with and didn't scream cliche, melodramatic, or depressing. I've found far too many books (especially on Wattpad) with insipid and shallow main characters that claim they're unique. It was refreshing to have a protagonist that actually stood out among the crowd.
2) The plot wasn't overused. It is original in the way it was performed. I'm sure there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of books about an obese woman losing weight and falling in love. However, very few feature a protagonist that gets mistaken for a man and *spoiler* still gets the guy.
3) It has honest comedic value. I don't know if it's just because I have a warped sense of humor or not, but I know I laughed through almost the entire book. I, personally, love a book that can make me literally laugh out loud. I hate books I can sit with a stone face and read. If I don't find humor or feeling, I won't read it. That's just my preference though.
4) The subordinate characters had faces and personalities. By this I mean, they weren't just that one best friend that's so supportive it's sickening. They had a clear cut trend to their behavior but they weren't sycophants. My favorite was the homosexual brother (of course it was years ago so I sadly don't know remember his name) because he served a purpose besides being a confidant for when the main character feels moody. Plus, he's so stereotypical gay that you can't help but laugh at his exuberant, welcoming, and truly amazing personality.
5) It has depth. Obesity and homosexuality are two very strong influences on today's youth. I mean, it's all around us. (At least in the U.S.) To touch on those two things that, through cruel intentions of other people, can utterly break anybody down and make them ashamed of themselves and just say, "hey, you're stronger than that; you can lose that weight and be somebody you're proud of", or, "Be proud of who you are, it's okay, we love you just the way you are" is truly touching. A lot of literature features a stereotypical gay man and makes fun of him through derogatory descriptions. I didn't get that vibe from this story. In fact, I thought it was marvelous that this straight guy could *spoiler* become completely okay with being gay for the girl that he loved which he thought was a guy. I also thought it was very inspiring that the protagonist could come to loving herself just by gaining friends who loved her. I think if you work that hard, you deserve a happily ever after.
Lastly, 6) It's just an all-around good book. It had me hooked from the first chapter. I'm the worst kind of reader, if I don't get hooked into a book (no matter where I am in the story), I will put it down and never finish it. I just abandon the entire story. For me to finish the entire thing and read it TWICE, it has to be up there on my Good Book List.

I think anyone who enjoys comedic, heart-touching, and romantic stories should read this book for it's truly enlightening eccentricism. It is, through the standards I raised for this book, a story that will leave it's mark.

So I read this book about 2 (?) years ago when it was still free on wattpad. I just read it will be a real book very soon in one of Cookies updates and was wondering if it was on goodreads, it is. Now I can share my love for this book. There was so much humor in this book it was a lot of fun to read. Ofcourse it has it's awkward moments too. I can't really go in detail since it's been 2 years and I still know how the story went, when I first heard it would come out in paper back i knew i'd buy it as soon as possible and give it a reread so I'm looking forward to that. I hope the paperback will come out soon and will be available for me too. (living in another country and not having a credit card is a real struggle)

The sense of humor in this book is so refreshing. Despite discussing serious weight issues and love problems, I'm loving where this is going. Can't wait to start reading the second book.

I’m rating this as if it’s one book cause each book is so short, but I liked it! Though it made me really sad at how much pain Chris was in. Like he was literally questioning his entire sexuality. Bro was willing to be gay for her! He was going THROUGH it. He had every right to be mad! He had basically had all that soul swearing and inner turmoil for NOTHING. I’d be pissed too. Though I do think he needs to consider pansexuality as a label.

It was really sweet how he still fell for Cal as a boy, though. It really showed how much he loved her.

I do hate stories where the fat person loses weight. Plus he never said she was beautiful. He was just like “I don’t care what you look like, I love YOU.” I was like, okay, but say she’s pretty…

Anyways, 3 ⭐️

"Big Fat Liar" was originally written and available on Wattpad before it was PTP. It's now available on Kindle, separated into 3 parts totaling 208pgs put together.

It's not the best story I've read, or the most believable, but it's fast, enjoyable, and humorous at times. Chris is a totally awesome and nice guy, despite mistaking Callie's gender, so it's easy to picture her falling in love with him. I would like to have him for neighbor. ^_^

It's also nice to see a heroine who battles weight issues. It's motivating to see her try and better herself, and be wanted for herself.

it's a nice short story about Callie Picket an overweight young girl and her hot neighbor Chris Walker.
It's the first book of this series, it contains many fun and emotional scenes. Both main characters are very interesting and I liked that we get to know about their past so soon. The only bad thing is that it ends with a cliffhanger.

Another multiparty short story .... grrrrtt

I don’t understand why this can’t all be in one book. That aside it’s a fun story aside from the insanely self deprecating lead character, we get it your fat, get over it for goodness sakes she just drones on and on and on

Sasha reminded me about this book from our wattpad days, so I read it on Kindle Unlimited, mostly for cataloguing purposes to remind me that this exists. It's an awful book, but it is certainly a relic of the internet for me.

I like the book. There was one grammar mistake, but other than that. A fantastic book. I wouldn't have known what to do either.

Read it on wattpad and it's one of my favorite Wattpad books yet. One of the best romcom I've read. Very funny and just overall a fun read.

Despite the cover on GR (I prefer the cover on wattpad) it's actually just a regular romcom without 'sexy scenes'.

Okay... So I was extremely excited when I stumbled upon this on Wattpad. The premise of this story had so much potential, and so many ideas to branch out on. I bought the first book and the following two and I've never been more disappointed. All the possibilities all thrown out the window. The first thing was that the main character was such a turn-off. She was whiny, extremely irritating, self-absorbed, and shallow.

There was one scene in which she took part in bullying one of the main guy's date, and it was disgusting. The only reason she behaved in such a hostile manner towards that girl was because the main male lead took a liking to her and that she was beautiful. It is truly such an awful thing to do to someone who has never made any attempts to hurt or sabotage the main girl.

The main girl is a liar and cares solely about looks. She goes on and on about the male lead's perfect looks, his body, his face, and everything. This romance wouldn't even have bloomed if not for the fact that he's conventionally attractive. She lies to him continuously and treats him poorly based on her mood. She doesn't actively try to improve her current situation but only sits around and laments about how terrible her life is. She is a truly unlikeable character.

This was so hard to get through because she's just such a dreadful person.

The beginning was intriguing with the Cinderella family and the drama happening with it I also thought it was interesting yet sad that Chris thought that she was a guy for their first meeting.

Chris is a sweet guy, but he is pretty oblivious to be thinking that Callie was a guy. There were so many signs to show that she was a girl but he still couldn't take a hint. Although, he was really nice to befriend Callie and try to help her get out in the world instead of ignoring her like other people would.

As for the ending, I thought that it was unfinished and should have not ended that way. It seemed more like a chapter ending than a book ending. It should have been changed to sound more like a book ending or something that you would call somewhat a end that will lead to another book.

Cute

This was a sweet read who many will identify with because it involves a nice woman with zero self esteem and is heavily overweight. And the boy next door is stunningly handsome but dumb. After all, how many guys would still think she is a man after becoming best buds over the course of a few months? Regardless, he does and Callie aka Cal let's him. It ends in a spot which allows for a part 2 which I, for one, am looking forward to!

It was such a cute story! I still can't believe how Chris couldn't see that Callie was a girl. I mean even if her hair was cut short like a guy's haircut, you can still see her feminine feautres on her face damnit! And that bastard ex-fiancé, sister and stepmother!!!

Still, such. a cute story. Didn't like the cover as much though... minor thing-ish.

Worthy of reading.

I actually found this book originally on Wattpad and loved it, but it wasn't the complete story so I went and found it on Amazon and I can't explain how much I love it! It's well written, hilarious, and a book that kept me on the edge of my seat. Thank you Cookie Moretti for writing this amazing book.

I thought the book was funny and inspiring. It shows that big girls can also get a chance, and that they're beautiful just like any other book. The only thing I didn't like was Chris' stupidity to think that Callie was a guy!

Amazing

This book was amazing. I read a couple of chapters on Wattpad before they were taken off and I still love it. I love how the author showed how it feels to be an insecure woman. This book is just amazing and I can't wait to read parts 2 and 3
