Elara is thrust into a journey deep into her own mind after a devastating accident leaves her trapped, where she faces the most painful moments of her life one by one. Shadowy figures whisper her worst secrets in the corridors of her memories, each step forward echoing with the threat of being consumed by her own regrets. As these dark forces claw at her sanity and try to break her spirit, she must keep moving forward to heal before everything is lost. She soon realizes that nothing is as it seems—are the loving voices she hears really her allies, or are they twisted echoes trying to lure her astray? But when Elara uncovers a shocking betrayal from someone she trusted most—a betrayal first hinted at by an old, worn toy hidden in her childhood room—the line between friend and foe blurs, making her question everything she believed. Even when things feel hopeless, there is always a way out. In the end, Elara must decide whether to fight or let her deepest fears and despair take over.

About the author

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, I had a difficult start. I found myself in Tucson, Arizona, at 10 years old, where life was still hard. At 20, I became a mother of 4 after unfortunate circumstances made me their only mother they had. I spent 16 years giving everything I had for my family, putting myself aside until I felt like I was no longer a person. After a lot of even more unfortunate circumstances, I found myself lost and alone after my marriage ended and I lost everything I knew. I almost broke but decided to rebuild my life and find who I am. Since I was 10 years old, all I ever wanted was to be an author. To leave my mark on this world. I am now a student, author, and mother with 2 left at home and 3 now adults. I have always loved the written word and the beauty in the darkness. I dig deep into dark themes within us all that most are afraid to face. With a perspective on trauma that promotes healing and bravery, I take my interest in my own internal darkness and bring it to the page, opening an immersive internal landscape with thought-provoking journeys into the deepest parts of the human psyche.
