At the beginning of 2015 I read The Miracle Morning (Hal's original book). It would have to be one of the most life changing books I have read (5 Stars!). Given the impact of that book I decided to add "The Miracle Morning for Salespeople" to my list; however I didn't get to read it until recently.
I see the Miracle Morning concept as more of a personal routine versus a routine that includes work aspects. The early morning time is my own as I know the rest of the day will be impacted by career commitments. Therefore my Miracle Morning consists of mindfulness, journaling, exercise, reading, visualising etc. The Miracle Morning for Salespeople takes the Miracle Morning template and further refines it for a sales person. Although a lot of the concepts in the book make sense, it didn't resonate as much as the original book.
If you haven't read either book then this one certainly delves into the concepts of how to develop a morning routine that can help you get control of your work priorities along with building a process that will enable you to sell more efficiently and effectively. There are some good tips and ideas that many can take away and apply to your respective careers.
Three key takeaways from the book:
1. Affirmations are powerful. The more you say something the more you will believe it. Building affirmations around who you want to be as a salesperson should be at the heart of your morning routine. 2. If your day includes critical meetings or phone calls, use visualisation techniques to work through them prior so that you're mentally and emotionally prepared. There are visual techniques as part of the S.A.V.E.R.S approach outlined in the book 3. Spend 70% of the time listening and 30% asking question during the sales process. I have seen this approach work over and over again in the enterprise software world. I would say however that there is a little bit more to it than just questions and listening.

As a fan of Hal's podcasts, I've heard him talk about the Miracle Morning routine, and since I'm in sales I figured this would be a good read. I wasn't disappointed. Hal, Ryan an Honoree do a great job of combining the SAVERS disciplines of the Miracle Morning routine and strategies and suggestions specifically for sales people, providing a blueprint from which you can copy exactly or easily modify to fit your individual needs.
This is a wonderful source of ways to develop or improve your habits, retrain your brain, and enhance the quality of your life as well as your career. Highly recommend this book to salespeople and anyone who wants to reassess their live qoals.
I have heard Hal speak and after the 30 minute podcast I asked myself if it could be this simple. He advice was to start tomorrow and not wait until Monday. Since then I have committed to the Miracle Morning and only missed a few days here and there. More importantly, I set goals and I have been pushing toward them throughout the year. The Miracle Morning is less of a book and more of a how to booklet on how to succeed. I have the SAVERS chart on my phone as a constant reminder and I share it with everyone.
Great implementation of the MM for sales. Wish I had a work look or action checklist. Will review and build one. Very empowering book. Moves along well.
This book was way better than the cover or the self published look it has makes you think. The sales advice given was some of the best I’ve read. Very fun and inspirational read. I highly recommend.
The key take away from the book really is the SAVERS formula (the miracle morning secret). Rest of it seems like an attempt to force fit the SAVERS philosophy into sales although once in a while you do encounter the aha moments. In short, give this book a try if you wish to work on the mental aspects of being a salesperson/entrepreneur. If you looking for practical sales tips this may not be your best friend
This is the second of the Miracle Mornings books I've read. They tend to be a collection of useful practices drawing on a hodge-podge of different worldviews brought together by a unifying theme. The strategies are great, hence the rating. However the worldview is eclectic and needs just a little discernment.
Having read the original "Miracle Morning" book, I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. I had somewhat modest expectations. Thankfully, this book turned out to be a good read! Yes, it does review much of the material and concepts from the original "Miracle Morning" book. However, it also goes further to lay out a step by step sales methodology.
This was my first exposure to the miracle morning. This concept in itself made me so excited because the focus this will help put on my day especially what I was missing. Then applying this concept to succeed in sales is awesome. I just finished reading this book and will apply EVERYTHING starting right now.
Pointers are good but only if you are newcomer in sales. However the miracle equation mentioned in the book is a good reminder for any experienced and successful salesperson to try with unwavering faith and see if you can excel further!
This is a wonderful book, Note - I am yet to read his original Miracle Morning book, The ideas mentioned in the book are good for budding and growing salespersons, A enjoyable read, will hopefully re-read again.

The book is similar to the original The Miracle Morning. I would recommend to read it when you want to refresh the knowledge from the original book, but take a look at it from the sales perspective.
This is a grate blue print for starting your day in sales. So often we get caught up on the techniques of the sale we forget all sales are won and lost in our mind.
