After receiving a mysterious card from one of her customers, Mia, feeling lonely and misguided in her new town, decides to give True Mates matchmaking service a try. A few men spark her interest, but one man, Asher, seems a cut above the rest.
Wolf-shifter Asher is smitten by Mia, but his older brother Jed, decides that Mia will be his mate alone and uses the pack hierarchy to ensure that he gets his way. Asher may be younger than Jed and further down the totem pole, but he's not about to back down to the alpha wolf.
Both men are hot, but Mia can't stop thinking about Asher. Is Asher ready to put step up to his older brother, claim Mia as his own, and move to the top of the pack?
I didn't like this book .. at all! Even though I quite enjoyed the first book in the series .
I like my men on the Alpha side, and I'm not ashamed to admit it! Asher was definitely not Alpha material, in fact he was .. weak Never standing up for himself or the woman he loved .. I kept waiting for him to get a backbone but it never really happened .. or I just didn't feel it
I don't know but I really disliked this book and the only reason I finished it was due to the book being too short.
Cute short story of shifters finding mates. This is not a ménage. Different than most, our hero, Asher is low on the list in the rankings of wolf relations. Mia is in search of a husband and a family. She's been alone long enough. At the mixer, she meets Asher, Jed and some other guys. The first date was with a pompous self-centered idiot. Then she and Jed had a date. He was okay, but was looking forward to Asher's date. She is given a tour of the farm, and Asher gives her the tour. Jed then takes her and becomes rough and crude, she screams, Asher saves her. My one problem is that Asher was so submissive until the end. He needed his mate in jeopardy to finally fight Jed for what he wants. Deep characters, and a different take on shifters, plus hot sex make this short story complete. ENJOY !!!
