This book has some good tips on how to plan to move, choosing a moving company and a new house/apartment. It has some tips on packing but I wish there were more details on packing some specific items since my budget is tight and I'll be packing almost everything by my self, with some help of my partner. Also, I wish there were tips on moving with pets.
