This is a good book to read to students about how to have good manners at school and what it means to have good manners.

This book is full of ways students should demonstrate good manners at school. Some of these include paying full attention to the teacher, keeping eyes on own work, and raise hand to ask teacher questions.

I will use this book in lower-elementary classrooms during the first week of school. Afterwards, the students will tell me ways they remember from the book that they will use manners in school.

This is a great read aloud for students on the first day of school. The story uses different scenarios of how children should act at school. The characters in the story helps clarify the expectations for students. I would use this text to teach or reinforce manners in a classroom.
