Cute pictures and my students loved the series. They even practiced! Unfortunately, my ex's child didn't grasp the concept (which is why I am now single).
My kindergarden kids were having trouble understanding whats appropropriate school behavior and so I read this book. Hopefully they understand now whats acceptable and what is not
This book is full of ways students should demonstrate good manners at school. Some of these include paying full attention to the teacher, keeping eyes on own work, and raise hand to ask teacher questions.
I will use this book in lower-elementary classrooms during the first week of school. Afterwards, the students will tell me ways they remember from the book that they will use manners in school.
This is a great read aloud for students on the first day of school. The story uses different scenarios of how children should act at school. The characters in the story helps clarify the expectations for students. I would use this text to teach or reinforce manners in a classroom.
Manners at School by Carrie Finn is a great book that can be used for the first day of school to teach children about the expectations that are to be follow in the hallways, restroom, classroom and etc. It's a great book about manners with great illustrations.
a good book for teaching younger children about manners at school - replying to teachers, raising your hand, lining up quietly. Nicely done with beautiful illustrations.
