I love this authors writing. Any book I've read by her I've really enjoyed. When I started this I didn't realise it was a paranormal read. I rarely read paranormal so imagine my surprise when I realised this was about witches and wizards. Instead of putting the book down I felt compelled to read as I have faith in this author.
Well I was right. This was a truly great read.
Riley and her friend Bea have moved away from their family to start college. While dealing with these changes they also have to deal with being witches.
Nathan is a wizard and attracted to Riley.
Great story with some twists. Loved Riley, Bea and Nathan.
Thank you Renea for taking me out of my usual genres and giving me a great read. I really loved it.

This book is really good. I kind of knew what to expect, but I was still amazed. I enjoyed reading The Butterfly Effect. I didn't want to stop reading it, honestly. I'd say this is a must read.

Wow! What an incredibly interesting book. It is a paranormal romance, but not the normal ones you see with werewolves, vampires, etc. Riley is a lovely young lady throughout the book. The Prologue captured me from the beginning, with the story that her mother was telling her about who she is and what to expect in life. There is flirting, love, romance, hot sex, heartbreak, the mending of fences, etc. Everything a great romance novel should have in order to keep you entertained. Did I mention hot sex? Renea Porter has done an incredible job bringing this fantasy to life in this romance novel. I hesitate to call it a paranormal romance, but once you read it, you can make your own mind up about if it truly is or not. There are things not of this earth throughout the book that are what lead me to call it a paranormal romance. It is definitely one not to miss. :)

Riley is a powerful witch and she is gradually coming into her powers, her best friend is a witch too. When Riley thinks she has met the 'one' everything starts to get a little complicated.
This is refreshingly a standalone. A really well written and lovely supernatural story. This is an easy read, with not too many characters and not too much going on, but nevertheless still really really addictive and kept me wanting more. I love Riley's character and felt connected with her and her new world, feelings and emotions - this book does have some hot & steamy scenes and is recommended for YA readers/18+. A really great read that I highly recommend.

A Terrific Paranormal Read
I really enjoyed reading this book, I love all things paranormal and this author really shines. She has created a very well written tale, with great characters. The story is different and very interesting. Witches and Wizards, and steamy hot scenes Oh My! This book is one that you will not want to put down. The focus is on the main characters and is a smooth, captivating easy read. Perfect for a curling up with a good book session. Even if you are not a huge fan of paranormal I think that this book will still be enjoyable. I look forward to reading more from this author and will be watching out for her books, as well as reading through the books that she already has out. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Riley & her friend Bea are starting their freshman year of college. Two witches who are still trying to figure out their powers. One of Riley's teachers is HOT & she feels a pull to him. He's a powerful wizard who's kept a low profile until her. There are people who don't want them together.
This is a awesome book. I was drawn in from page one. We all have had that one teacher we thought was HOT.

5 Stars for this wonderful book. I love reading book by Renea Porter. She is such a talented author and she always writes unique and beautiful stories. I think this is my favorite one written by her. I was drawn in on page one and it held my attention until the end. I love the paranormal twist to this story and the characters where so loveable. Bea is a trip, she is Riley’s bestfriend. I love both Nathan and Ace. I don’t want to give any of the story away. But this is a must read. Great Job!
