Meh… this book was the definition of “Cheesy Siren Smut”
It did have a good amount of plot, but sadly I was slightly uninterested.

Holy Shit, this book was steamy hot and sexy. The sex was off the charts in explicitness and content. A little raunchy and very wicked.
Now on to the story. I found the storyline very interesting and surprising fresh. I enjoyed learning about the history of the Shadow Ministers and the reason for what they do. They have a violent and bloody past. And they now spend their lives making amends by helping other races. Their mating traditions are also interesting and lead to some very highly sexual hijinks.
I am not going to say the book was perfect, because there were a few things that made me shake my head and doubt the reality of them. I know a little funny to say that about a book that deals with aliens and space travel. But actually I am talking about the things that happened to Shay prior to his meeting his three hunky mates. The way he was treated since he was a child and into adulthood just seemed a little off to me. Especially what happened with the people he worked with.
However, once the four men all mated, damn, just damn. Yes it all happened very fast, but it was a fun ride getting there. Shay’s reactions to things were just so hilarious at times. I found him truly adorable. The three mates were also interesting, but it was really Shay who drove the story. Plus really there is nothing better than the imperfect man who has always been put down getting the super delicious hero, or heroes in this case.
Really I enjoyed this very fun and sexy, though slightly unrealistic read. I look forward to what the future holds for Shay and his mates.

2.5 stars rounded up because of all the interesting stuff on the ship.
The beginning sucks.
Its like the author wanted to throw every cliche into a character and shake it up so Ta-Da......we could get our main character. He is pudgy, has orange hair, is unknowingly having pics taken on him, creepy workmates, asshole boss, unappreciated but brilliant etc
I dont know why but I persisted past the first 15-20 pages and then they were in outer space and on one very awesome space ship. I completely loved the exploring and everything that happend on the ship. I was delighted with the mpreg plot line...i didnt know there was babies to be had. So delighted there :)
It was weird and I like weird, so I suggest giving this unique plot a go...just make it past the beginning.

This book has too much smut and too little plot. Everything is cliché, superficial and lacks details in general about the story, about the personality of the characters and other important things. You basically know almost nothing about the alien mates.
