Humanized input provided a shape to program design that made the computer record data and fill in logical blanks. I have summed up the book over the past 32 years as data is most accurately recorded by the owner of the data in a normalized fashion. Few people mispell their own names or addresses. Many transcription errors occur daily of that same information when it is read over a telephone or copied from a piece of paper.

A core value for my career in information technology
