I seriously can’t get enough of this series, and somehow every new couple becomes my new favorite! Ryker and Faith have had feelings for each other for a long time, so when Faith came to him for help, he dropped everything to fight for her and protect her.

I loved watching Ryker take control of the situation and become so determined to see things through. He was relentless when it came to proving Faith’s innocence. He definitely had moments of doubt, but not once did that stop him from pushing forward or fighting for her. Faith deserved to have someone in her corner for a change, someone willing to stand beside her and fight for her when she couldn’t do it all on her own.

Faith is so used to relying on herself, which made it even more incredible to watch her finally let her guard down and lean on Ryker. Their dynamic was everything, and I loved seeing the trust between them grow as they faced everything together.

Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley were absolutely phenomenal! They brought every ounce of tension, uncertainty, emotion, and chemistry to life so vividly. You could truly feel everything Faith and Ryker were going through every step of the way.

Seriously, this series is so good. If you haven’t started listening yet, go listen asap!

Thank you, Kathy Lockheart and Must Love Audio for the ALC.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

OMG, this audiobook was SO GOOD. I genuinely did not want to stop listening. It was incredibly entertaining from start to finish, with a storyline that kept me on the edge of my seat and constantly wanting to know what was going to happen next.

The combination of found family, romance, suspense, mystery, and emotional healing worked so well together. There was always something keeping me invested, whether it was Faith and Ryker's relationship, the mystery surrounding what happened that night, or the incredible found family dynamic throughout the story.

And the duet narration was AMAZING. Andi Arndt was flawless as always, and this was my first time listening to Thomas Oakley. He was absolutely perfect as Ryker. They brought so much emotion and personality to these characters and made an already gripping story even harder to put down.

This was my first book by Kathy Lockheart, and I'm so excited to discover that I have plenty more of the Sinners and Saints series to keep me occupied. Even better, they're audiobooks! I already can't wait to jump into Knox's story next.

Such an entertaining, emotional, suspenseful listen and an easy 5 stars for me!

Thank you so much to Valentine PR & Literary Management as well as Kelly Lockheart for giving me the opportunity to listen early and share my honest review!

OMG This book is absolutely PHENOMENAL !!!!
The Sinner and Saints series has been such a joy to listen to,and DOUBT was NO exception,it is an exceptional Audiobook and Kathy Lockheart's writing is Superb it was so well written and structured and I was left in AWE of her storytelling.
This is Ryker Kincaid and Blake's sister Faith Morrison's romance..I say romance but I thought that these two may never be able to be together as Faith is accused of MURDER !!!!!!!!.
Faith has had an awful childhood and teenage years, parents died and then she gets seperated from her brother Blake.
Then passed to different foster homes where she suffered physical and mental abuse...she now helps foster kids who have been wronged and who needs a home.
She has recently been reunited with her brother Blake and her life was becoming manageable, and she was settling down..Then one night changes everything.Faith wakes up in a forest, covered in blood, next to a dead body and holding a knife she can't remember any of the events that happened that night..The only person she can think of to help her is Ryker.
Ryker is a defense Attorney and the best shot Faith has got, because the stacks are against her...but no matter what Ryker will defend Faith with all he has...But he lives by a code to only defend people who are innocent,no killers ...to prove to his old firm that he can be successful on his own.
Then Faith walks in covered in blood saying she thinks she has killed someone and Ryker is conflicted, because he has been professionally fooled by a client before and it cost lives.
He has strong feelings for Faith and they had been hooking up in secret for a while, and they still want one another despite the circumstances.
Honestly this story is so complex and so freaking good, there are so many sides to it and it is so much more than a love story,I can't even explain it.
SLOWLY Faiths past is told and the trauma she had been through and we also get to learn how their secret relationship developed.
Faith is such a great character she is kind, thoughtful and strong,Ryker is determined, unrelenting, loyal.protective and caring,I liked them both and they are perfect for one another.
But they are up against a force to be reckoned with and I felt so bad for Faith everything was against her,to convict her and what they both don't realise is that,Faith is caught up in a game she never knew she was playing.
The Narration is EXCELLENT Andi Ardnt and Thomas Oakley are so perfect for the roles of these characters, they brought Faith and Ryker to life so animately, and showed all the emotions perfectly.
Andi Ardnt is a Queen and she always plays the roles she is given smoothly and precisely she is always Brilliant.
I Loved Thomas Oakley's voice that deep twang is luscious, and got Rykers character amazingly..Both of these voice actors made this book even better..I loved listening to them.
DOUBT is just such a fabulous suspense..Addictive,intriguing,entertaining,intense,spicy,emotional,heartbreaking and through all the chaos there is romance.
The group chats between the sinners and saints are comedy gold,Axel is so inappropriate it is funny his light hearted banter brought some relief from the heaviness of Faith's situation.
I also was delighted that we seen more of KNOX in this story,he has been the one I have been anticipating to know about and I am too excited to listen to his book.
Kathy Lockheart did a wonderful job at keeping the reader or listener totally engaged and wanting more,it is everything a good storyteller does.
One more thing Sensitive readers please check the trigger warnings, your mental health and comfort is important..sorry if I have over stepped and said to much about this story, but I couldn't stop myself from gushing about this book,I really enjoyed it and hope you all do to after all there is nothing quite like listening to or reading the book yourself to discover all the little gems that reviews don't tell you.
Loved it.
5 STARS.

This was a wild, tipsy-turvy mystery that slowly evolved into a romance.

Faith shows up looking for Ryker while covered in blood and not sure what really happened. She had a head wound and no real memory of what happened, what led up to what happened... nothing. Ryker is a defense attorney who is looking to build a career on defending the certainly innocent who don't seem to have a chance. For example, Knox, a part of the Saints and Sinners group who is already locked up.

This story followed along the lines of things I enjoy in TV show and movies... we mixed romance with suspense, mystery, the law (big fan of police and law procedurals). When I say I was drawn in immediately, I was writing down notes and clues came in and was honestly trying to figure out what happened alongside the characters. There were so many questions, so many unknowns, and honestly, Faith willingly left out parts of her past that made everything even more difficult.

Unlike we're taught, in this case, the prosecutors had already determined that Faith was guilty of murder. Corrupt police and law officers are incredibly frustrating and it hurts to see those who end up entangled in those corruption cases. This story highlighted so much in it and it all made sense. Stalking, child abuse, foster care, murder, death, corruption... the list keeps going and going.

The title for this book of the series? Perfection.

It did get a little slow and tedious a little over halfway through, but once the clues and puzzle pieces came into place... phew boy it was on and I was on the edge of my seat until the very end.

Faith just wanted to believe the best in people, even given her past. And you felt it. She was definitely a light in a dark world.

What I also thoroughly enjoyed was the relationship between the Saints and Sinners crew was phenomenal. I loved the group chats, the interactions and I was literally LOL'ing when Axel would bring in his two cents in any situation. Tense situation? He's laying jokes. Awkward situation? He's at it again. It just... yes. LOL.

As for the audiobook... holy crap. I was absolutely blown away by the performance from Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley. Andi brought a serious touch to a very beautiful character. Her vibe was on point and in lighthearted moments, you could feel the joy... but throughout most of the story, you could FEEL the fear for Faith. As for Thomas, listen, I'm used to you being the grumpy cowboy... so this was an absolute delight. The emotions from Ryker were strong, the take on the scenes were amazing... but the best part? The additional humor that rolled through the scenes where it was meant to be funny. When I say I laughed out loud before, I mean LOUD. Snort-inducing laughter that broke up the tension of this intense story. 10/10. Perfect narrators for this story.

Thank you so much Kathy and Grey's Promotion for this ALC opportunity. I am sat and ready for more from you, Kathy!

🎧💜 DOUBT — Kathy Lockheart 💜🎧

Well… I’ve finished it. And Kathy Lockheart has officially broken me.

I’ve listened to this whole series in order, and somehow every time I thought this one is my favourite…

Along comes Doubt and says:

“Hold my headphones.” 🎧

Because WOW.

This wasn’t just a great story.

This was an emotional listening experience.

Faith and Ryker absolutely got under my skin. The history between them, the secrets, the uncertainty, the danger… and watching Ryker refuse to give up on Faith?

My heart.

Faith has spent so long having to rely on herself, so seeing her finally have someone who stood beside her, believed in her and fought for her when she couldn’t fight for herself anymore…

Yeah.

That got me.

And then Kathy decided that while she was emotionally destroying me, she might as well throw in suspense, twists, tension and enough WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS HAPPENING?! moments to keep me glued to my headphones.

But THANK GOD for the Sinners & Saints group chats because just when I thought I was going to need emotional support…

AXEL ARRIVED.

That man is absolutely hilarious.

The levity he brings at exactly the right moment was perfection. I was genuinely laughing out loud while listening.

My husband, from across the room:

“Care to share with the class?”

Sir… NO. 😂😂😂

And then there’s Rainbow.

PERFECTION.

IYKYK. 😂🐶

But we HAVE to talk about the audiobook because honestly…

ANDI ARNDT + THOMAS OAKLEY.

🔥🔥🔥

PHENOMENAL.

They didn’t just narrate this story.

They made me feel it.

Every bit of tension. Every crack in Faith’s armour. Every protective instinct from Ryker. Every moment of uncertainty, fear, hope and chemistry.

Their performances took an already phenomenal story and turned it into something completely immersive.

This is exactly why I love audiobooks.

Sometimes you read a story.

Sometimes you experience it.

And this?

I experienced the hell out of it. 🎧💜

So yes…

Doubt is officially my favourite of the Sinners & Saints series.

Kathy, you have absolutely ruined me in the best possible way.

Andi and Thomas?

You two absolutely understood the assignment.

Now excuse me while I stare into the middle distance and recover from this audiobook like a woman who has just been through something. 😂💜

5 ⭐️ — and the audiobook gets an extra imaginary star for emotional damage.

I seriously cannot get over how amazing the duet narration was in this one. Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley brought so much chemistry and emotion to these characters, and you could truly feel every single emotion through their performances.

Andi Arndt absolutely brought Faith to life. She captured both the vulnerability and the strength in her character so beautifully. You can’t help but feel Faith’s pain through Andi’s voice. Faith has spent so much of her life feeling like all she’s known is loss, especially when people choose to walk away after learning who she is and everything she’s been through. Andi did such an incredible job portraying that hurt while still showing the strength Faith carries underneath it all.

And then there’s Thomas Oakley as Ryker, and he was absolutely perfect. Ryker is a criminal defense attorney who has made it his mission to defend only the people he knows are truly innocent. Then Faith comes into his life, and suddenly everything he thought he believed in is challenged. There was absolutely no way he was going to let anyone else defend her.

Thomas captured Ryker’s protective and possessive side so well, especially when it came to Faith. You could hear just how deeply he cared about her and how determined he was to protect her, and I was HERE FOR IT.

These two narrators made the chemistry between Faith and Ryker feel so real, and their performances added an entirely different level of emotion to the story. This is exactly why duet narration will always have my heart.

And we have to talk about the Sinners and Saints group text because it is STILL one of my favorite parts of this series! Honestly, Axel is the best. Kathy Lockheart does such an amazing job with her side characters, too, and I was absolutely living for Harper’s introduction in this book. The way she threw that lamp at Ryker had me laughing!

And Knox!!! I loved getting a little peek at his character and seeing just how much depth there is to him, especially when it comes to what he would be willing to go through for his family. Now I’m even more excited for the Trust audiobook!

Doubt is an amazing audiobook. Definitely a 5star listen for me! Thank you, Kathy Lockheart and Valentine PR, for the amazing opportunity!

Kathy Lockheart... Ma'am!!! How do you do this to me EVERY TIME!!! First of all, these sibling couples are funny when you think back on it, lol. Blake married Ryker's sister Tessa and then..Oop... Here comes Ryker and Faith. LOVE! Second, I knew Faith's story was going up slay me because Blake's took me OUT! Now, let's talk about these two. At the end of "Bound," I knew some WILD stuff was about to go down and clearly... I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. We got bits and pieces of who Faith was but showing up at the mansion covered in blood with NO memory of what happened revved up my spidy senses clearly there's a lot to uncover! I've loved how Ryker was always the level-headed member in S&S and tried to keep the guys out of trouble at every turn, but taking on Faith's case was a whole different level of dedication! Let's bring on the character development and revelations. Knowing the attorney was the man who put Knox away and the deceased was a corrupt judges' son who also stalked Faith for a decade was leveled! Hearing Faith's story in pieces, knowing what she's survived and grown from shattered me! Seeing the true development of their relationship, from the secret rendezvous to the blatant "caught" affections (which ended in some yard fights amongst the brothers) to the true survival of their love story. Faith has SO MANY levels, and I love how strong and caring she was. This woman thought about EVERYBODY else before herself. Bless her! Knowing that Ryker was going to fight for her even when there were so many turning points of literal DOUBT in the story. It was so much, but I loved it so. I mean, even the comical relief from none other than Axel and his new ugly lady Rainbow has levels. I will NEVER get enough of this series, and I'm so glad I stumbled upon the opportunity for each ALC! Crash started all of these rollercoaster rides!!! And let's not forget how Thomas Oakley and Andi Arndt voiced the heck out of these characters!!!

Thank you, Kathy Lockheart and ValentinePR!!! Again, these are stories I never knew I needed until we got HERE!!! Oh, my heart!! Now let's get Knox's story because he's ready to get out FINALLY!!!

If you have the book 3 of this series then you know exactly where this book will start. It is a griping start to a book! The suspense was solid throughout this entire book. I really had to convince myself to hit pause because all I wanted to do was listen to this book and find out all the details. I knew there was things that happened but I NEEDED to know exactly what it was.

Ryker is a solid defense attorney, but the only issue was that he only defends the innocent and in this case no one knew what had happened other than Faith was covered in blood and holding a knife. I really liked that we got to see how Ryker fought himself many times about right and wrong and his feelings for Faith. He doesn't take anything lightly and wants to do what is right but also follow his heart at the same time.
Faith is such a strong FMC. If I was in her shoes I know I would not have been able to be as calm and positive as her. I would have been absolutely freaking out...orange is not my color and concrete and metal bars are terrifying to me 😬

I devoured this book, I knew I would because this series just gets better and better with each and every book. Seeing all the past books characters and especially with this one because Blake is Faith's brother, it just builds these books up so much.

Now I absolutely can not wait for the next book because it is Knox book and I think I already know who he will be with and I am so excited for that duo!

If you haven't started this series yet please do. It is worth it. They don't have to be read in order but there is visits from the other books characters in each.

The narration for this was terrific. I am not sure if I have listened to anything by Thomas Oakley before. But he did fabulous. And Andi Arndt was as always terrific. These two went super well together as well. I will for sure keep an eye out for other things that they narrate and especially if it's them together again.

Thank you to the author and @valentine_pr_ for the ALC. All opinions are my own.

💜🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW💜🎧

OMG THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS FOR THIS ONE!! I'm beyond OBSESSED with this series and I can't get enough of it! I fell in LOVE with Ryker. This man may not show his emotions but he has a heart of gold he hides from everyone. This book took me on one heck of a rollercoaster ride and I felt every single emotion I have. Axel had me laughing so hard I could barely breathe.

The narrators were Andi Arndt & Thomas Oakley! These two told Ryker & Faith's story PERFECTLY! They held my attention and kept me entertained the entire time I was listening. Thomas will definitely have you blushing in some scenes!

Faith finds herself a murder suspect when she is found with a knife, covered in blood, no memory of what happened and they find a dead body. If you think that's bad enough this poor girl has had a rough childhood and has dealt with a lot of things in her past. Of course all of these things come back to haunt her. But she knows there's one person that will do everything he can to help her.

Ryker is a criminal defense attorney and Blake's best friend. So when Faith finds herself in trouble she turns to him. Now he has to put his career and reputation on the line to help her. But to Ryker it's worth it because he'll burn the world down for Faith!

These two had such great chemistry and I just loved how they fit together. These two will have plenty of ups and downs but that will just make them stronger. I loved catching up with past characters in the Sinners & Saints as well. I love this brotherhood so much and love that they will burn every bridge there is to help the ones they love. I HIGHLY recommend this book and this entire series!!

Thank you Kathy Lockheart & Valentine PR for allowing me to listen to this ALC for my honest opinion.

I have loved the Sinners and Saints series so far, and Ryker and Faith’s story did not disappoint!

Ryker and Faith have been pining for each other for years, but they’ve always resisted acting on their feelings - primarily because Ryker is one of Faith’s brothers’ best friends, making their relationship decidedly off-limits. Despite keeping his distance, Ryker has always been protective of Faith, and when the unthinkable happens, he doesn’t hesitate to step in and pledge to protect her at all costs.

One of my favorite scenes was when Ryker finds Harper and Faith two bottles of wine deep into a girls’ night. What transpires afterward had me laughing out loud. I love Harper, and I’m so glad Faith was able to find such a great friend through all the madness. I also loved Rainbow and the running joke that Rainbow was somehow even uglier in photos than in real life. 😂 It was those little details and moments of humor sprinkled throughout the story that really drew me in and made the characters feel that much more real.

The only reason this was a 4.5-star read for me instead of a full 5 stars was that the story felt a little drawn out at times. There was twist after twist, and at certain points, I found myself wondering if Ryker and Faith would ever catch a break and we’d finally get some resolution. Still, I really enjoyed their story, especially the humor, friendships, and little moments woven throughout, and I loved getting another installment in this series!

4.5/5 stars
2/5 spice

I cannot wait for Harper & Knox's story in the final book of the series out on October 29th!!

Axel and Faith

📚This series has had me hooked, and after the cliffhanger from the previous book, I couldn’t get to this one fast enough. It picked up right where the last one left off and I could not turn it off. Axel and his dedication to Faith was everything!! The way he was willing to put it all on the line put him in prime book boyfriend territory. This is one of the best found family series I’ve ever read and love that they spend so much time together on page so we don’t ever have to really say goodbye to any of them. But when I say I cannot wait for Knox’s book,it is a vast understatement only because I don’t have words to express just how much I need it!

🎧It is a testament to the narrators and the audiobook gods that I stayed patient waiting for each of these because the stories were so good. But these audios really elevated the experience of each one and were worth the wait. These two narrators were perfect for their roles. Andi Arndt has been a long time favorite of mine because her voice is just so beautiful and easy to listen to. Thomas Oakley is not as recognizable to me but he really brought so much personality to Axel’s character and I will be on the lookout for more from him in the future.

Doubt (Sinners and Saints book 4)
by Kathy Lockheart
Narrated in duet by Thomas Oakley and Andi Arndt.
Narration was spot on. The timing and pacing could not be better. Especially in the Sinners and Saints group text, the banter and humor timing was perfect. I truly felt all the emotions from Andi’s performance for Faith. You could feel all her hesitation, doubt, and shame. Wonderful performance. Thomas did an exceptionally well performance with all the characters but especially Riker and you could feel his emotions as well with all his doubts.
Faith comes from a shady background. She’s not sure if or how she will fit in with her older brother’s friend group but she does make an instant connection to her brother’s friend, Riker.
Riker was instantly attracted to Faith but promised to keep his hands off his bff’s little sister.
Faith runs into some trouble and Riker is all too quick to represent her. Can she trust him with her truth and all her past? Can Riker trust her with his career and not have nagging doubts?
Tropes:

This was definitely my favorite in the Sinners and Saints series. Loved the story, the characters, the plot, the emotions, and the deep love. Highly, highly recommend this book.

This series has become one of my absolute favorite series. Every book just keeps getting better and better. I am so thankful to be able to get the ALCs for Sinners and Saints and Doubt didn't disappoint.

I loved how much plot this book had. Faith's story is much more than just a FMC finding love. Her story had to be told and Kathy did such a wonderful job making sure it was given grace. So far I have seen this group of friends find love with each other's sisters and the dynamic between them all is perfect. I was curious about Ryker because of how book 3 ended but the man was willing to burn the world for Faith. She had everything against her and yet she was rich in who backed her up.

The narrators for Doubt did a wonderful job. Faith's story had to be voiced by someone strong and willing to fight so that the listeners could feel that. Andi Arndt did just that. She was meant for Faith's voice. Thomas Oakley as Ryker was another amazing voice actor. I can definitely hear his voice and vision someone willing to fight. I loved it all. Thank you both.

Kathy, this book was AMAZING! Like I said before, it was meant to be more than just a spicy book. Thank you so much for Faith's story. Also, thank you for adding scenes with Axel in them because he had me rolling with how he described poor Rainbow LOL!

This is the first book I have read in the Sinners and Saints series and I loved it!! I will be going back to read books 1-3 and will be continuing this series!! I really enjoyed all of these characters and the found family relationships that I could see with not only the main characters, but also the side characters.

I was a bit confused when I started this one, just because I haven’t read the other books in the series and you could tell that Faith and Ryker had some type of relationship before this book started. Once it was explained and we had some flashbacks, I understood how they had such strong feelings for each other.

Andi Arndt is one of my favorite narrators!! She does a phenomenal job at bringing her characters to life and drawing you into a story. Especially with the mystery in this story and the raw emotions of hearing Faith’s past and her heartbreak over the situation she found herself in. Thomas Oakley is a new to me narrator and he did a great job at narrating the male characters. You could feel and hear the connection and the protection Ryker had toward Faith.

If you’re a fan of a protective hero, forced proximity, found family, and a forbidden romance then you need to check out this book and try the audio, it is worth it!!

🎧📚 UMMM… WHY WAS THIS AUDIOBOOK SO ADDICTING?! 😭🤌🏻❤️‍🔥
You know when an audiobook has you making excuses to keep listening because you physically cannot bring yourself to press pause? YEAH. THIS WAS THAT AUDIOBOOK. 🫠

I was completely hooked from start to finish, desperate to uncover what happened that night while falling harder for Faith and Ryker. The found family dynamics had my heart, the mystery kept me on the edge of my seat, and the emotional moments?! 🥹❤️‍🩹 I WAS NOT OKAY.
CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE DUET NARRATION?! 🤌🏻👩‍🍳💋🎧
Andi Arndt was phenomenal as always, but Thomas Oakley as Ryker?! 🫠
I AM OBSESSED. The emotion, the chemistry, the way they brought these characters to life?!
THEY UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT.

If you love romance, suspense, found family, emotional damage, and top-tier audiobook narration, ADD THIS TO YOUR TBR/L IMMEDIATELY. 😭📖💗

Now excuse me while I sit here and WAIT like the good little convict I am for MR. KNOX BLACKWOOD. 🧎🏻‍♀️⛓️😭 Because apparently, I have no life outside of fictional men and my audiobook TBR. SEND HELP. 🫠❤️‍🔥

Doubt
Sinners and Saints, Book 4
By: Kathy Lockheart
Narrated by: Andi Arndt, Thomas Oakley

And this is exactly what keeps me wanting to listen to Kathy Lockheart. The perfect mix of romance and suspense. Ryker has feelings for Faith. Forbidden to him since she's his best friend Blake's sister, he just can't stay away. So when she is found with blood all over, he is ready to do whatever he has to to prove her innocence. Faith is an incredible woman, but she has a past that has damaged her. Questions pop up, powerful people try to sabotage and create havoc for not only her, but people close to her as well. Ryker is torn between his feelings and the facts. Lockheart keeps this fast paced romantic suspense flying by with fun texts, good friends and a found family that is impossible to break. Keep it coming! I am loving this series.

Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley are the narrators of this one, and you can imagine what I did on my Saturday! All day, earbuds in and trying not to doubt Faith! These two pull out all the stops, keeping the banter, suspense, and chemistry going. I loved their portrayal of all the characters, creating and ensemble that is unbreakable. Loved it!

Forced proximity
Touch her and 💀
Protective MMC
Brother's best friend
Dual POV - 1st person

Duet narration - Thomas Oakley & Andi Arndt

Book #4 Saints & Sinners series

A romance that has a bit of mystery and thrill mixed in with it. I am loving this series. Kathy Lockheart has gripped me so tight, and I am not letting go. I cannot wait for book 5, I need Knox's story so bad!

This book follows Faith as she navigates being on trial for a crime she is not completely sure she did or did not commit. When she shows up to the mansion covered in blood the guys of sinners & saints jump into action. Ryker the tall, brooky, and sexy lawyer immediately starts getting things in motion. Trying to find out what happened and why. Ryker is determined to help Faith and not fall in love with her, but these two cannot resist the pull they feel towards each other.

Faith is a fight, a strong-willed FMC, and she is not going down easily. With Ryker and the guys by her side Faith will learn the truth of the night she can't remember all while falling in love with her brother's best friend.

Overall, this story hooked me from chapter one. I was enthralled by the mystery and the romance. Thomas Oakley & Andi Arndt did such a wonderful job with this emotional and entertaining book.

🎧 Doubt was intense, emotional, and impossible to put down. This audiobook kept me on the edge of my seat. The suspense, secrets, and danger made this one incredibly addictive.🔥

🎙️ Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley were fantastic. They brought Faith and Ryker to life beautifully, capturing the chemistry, banter, tension, vulnerability, spice, angst, and intensity between them. Their performances brought so much depth to these characters and made their connection feel undeniable. ❤️‍🔥

🖤 Thomas Oakley perfectly captured everything I love about Ryker Kincaid—a protective, ruthless, morally gray hero with an intelligent and relentless side, but also a softer, deeply devoted side when it comes to Faith. He made Ryker even more swoon-worthy. 😍

💔 Andi Arndt brought Faith’s heartbreak, strength, and resilience to life so well, making her journey feel incredibly emotional and authentic. I could feel her determination to better herself and reclaim her life, making her someone I couldn’t help but root for. 🥹❤️

📚 Doubt is definitely one to add to your TBR—or your audiobook queue!

Thank you to Kathy Lockheart and Valentine PR for the ALC. 💕

This was my first time reading Ryker and Faith’s book and honestly I’m kind of really glad that it worked out that I did the audio the first time. While I know I would have enjoyed the arc I received, I’m an audiobook girl through and through. When this series started getting audios I knew I had to wait it out because the audio just hits different.

I am absolutely obsessed with this series and Ryker and Faith’s story is my new favorite. The lawyer who defends only the innocent and the woman who shows up with a bloody knife, a dead body and no memory of what happened. Honestly it was perfect.

These characters had my heart aching for them. Faith was such an incredible character. To have gone through everything that she has but still be such an incredibly caring and compassionate person. She puts everyone before herself and it was so nice to see her finally get something good for her.

Ryker was also a great character. I’ve really enjoyed the glimpses of him through the other books in the series but I loved finally getting to know more of him. He was very principled, relentless and determined. No matter what people thought he was sticking by his clients and his principles. He really was the best person for Faith to have on her defence.
Andy Arndt and Thomas Oakly were amazing as Ryker and Faith. I loved the duet narration and they truly brought the feelings to this book. The way they captured the tension, doubt and uncertainty, the vulnerability and chemistry between the characters was phenomenal.

This series is so good and if you haven’t started it yet, go get these audios you won’t regret it.

This one had my emotions all over the place, a good portion of the time I was angry at the world for what it had done to Faith, while my heart was bleeding for her.
Faith has my heart 1000%. She has had one of the most devastating pasts. When she told Ryker, I was crying for her. I hate that there are stories, just like hers, in the real world.
The heat 🌶️🌶️ between Ryker and Faith could burn down an entire city. that being said, I know Ryker got screwed over before, but he made me mad a few times in this one.

Andi Arndt & Thomas Oakley brought this one to life in such a perfect way. I would bet that I wouldn’t have been as invested in these characters if it wasn’t for them.

This one has:
🔥 Brother’s Best Friend
🚫 Forbidden Romance
🖤 “Touch Her and Die” Energy
🏡 Found Family
😞Broken Down FMC
🛡️ Protective MMC
😤 Grumpy MMC
🤫 Secrets & Lies
🕰️ Hidden Past
🛡️ Protective Sanctuary
💥 High Stakes Danger

Axel will always be a riot, Rainbow is one I would love to see pics of, and I can’t wait for Knox and Harper’s book!

Wow, this is my first book by Kathy Lockheart and now I have to go back to listen to the other books. To jump to the fourth book in this series, I didn’t know what to expect but I was very surprised by how good this story was and its characters.

Ryker was there from the start to help Faith. They have somewhat of a past but being his best friend’s sister, he knows she’s part of his friend group no matter what. Ryker has trust issues but his gut tells me Faith is different. Faith never had an easy life. She feels not worthy and that everything happens to her because she deserves it and was given this life. Ryker and Faith not only have to go through challenges that have caused Faith to be in the situation she’s in but also learn to grow and have trust in each other.

Overall, this book was surprisingly great for what I’m used to reading and the narrators were a given to sign up for it. Both narrators went far and beyond playing the main character voices. Thank you Kathy and Valentine PR for the opportunity to listen to this wonderful read.

I am completely OBSESSED with this series! Kathy Lockheart knows how to deliver the perfect mix of suspense, twists, sizzling chemistry, and ALL the emotions!

Faith and Ryker had me hooked from the beginning! Faith is so much stronger than she realizes, and Ryker? A protective, possessive attorney who will do absolutely anything for his girl? YES PLEASE! Their chemistry was EVERYTHING!

And the Sinners and Saints group text?! 😂 Easily one of my favorite parts of this series! Axel is absolutely HILARIOUS, and I live for the banter, friendships, and found family vibes!

Thomas Oakley and Andi Arndt were incredible in duet! They brought so much emotion and chemistry to these characters and made an already amazing story even better!

The mystery, the romance, the humor… I loved every second and cannot wait for more!

I was fortunate to receive an advance listening copy (ALC) of this audiobook in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own. A huge thank you for the opportunity to experience Faith and Ryker’s story in audio!

How is each book in this series so freaking good. Since I first learned about Doubt I’ve been excited to finally read it, but the audiobook brings it all alive so spectacularly. I was entrance listening as it felt like the story was unfolding around me.

The story … I’m struggling to write this review because just want to gush but I don’t want to give anything away … but wow. I’m still processing everything but I want whoever reading this to know this book, this series, is one of those that won’t ever lead you. It will touch those deep places in your soul and after all the drama and danger it will leave you somewhere safe. Our fmc is so strong and been through so much and none of that is sugar coated. I love her and the mmc is his own complex man. I loved every minute listening. The narrators are fantastic.

Please listen to this audiobook is amazing and it comes with a bonus audiobook exclusive scene. And it’s 😍🥹.

In short I highly recommend!

Ok, I know this series was released in 2025 and this book was released in February 2026, but these audible releases absolutely make this series just the best series. There is one more in this series and I will impatiently waiting for it. But I know it will be worth it.
Faith and Ryker!! Gosh Faith’s story is heartbreaking and her fear of just being accepted was so hard. Ryker falling for her is awesome. So kind and so patient but man so protective. I love it! Faith is a bad ass and still so soft and amazing with all who need help and love.
The text thread between Ryker, Axel, Blake and Jace are classic every single time. Always have me laughing out loud, I swear my family stares at me and I just smile! LOL
This series is a must listen as well. Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley did amazing on this narration as well.
One more! I’m not ready for this series to end!

Being able to experience this book again on audio after eyeball reading when this one first came out, just irritated to me why this whole series has been absolute bangers.
Faith has had a very traumatic past and has just recently reconnected more with her brother, and the opening of this book just hits you hard, when she immediately ends up in some trouble and runs to Riker for help. He secretly has feelings for her but promised to stay away in that aspect. But as more and more happens, they can't keep denying their attraction to each other.
The narration on this was perfect Andi really embodied Faiths character and did not mess around with bringing out the raw emotions from her. Thomas was really great as Riker bringing his doubts, inner thoughts and his feelings for Faith out perfectly.

Thank you to Valentine PR and Kathy for allowing me to be apart of this ALC!!

WHAT. A. WHIRLWIND.

The pending trial. The twists. The evidence. The constant feeling that Faith might finally be in the clear, only for another curveball to come flying out of nowhere.

I was stopping mid stride while walking, burning food while cooking, and putting my entire life on hold because I NEEDED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED NEXT.

And poor Faith. 😭 This woman has BEEN THROUGH IT.

The emotional turmoil she endured throughout this story was heartbreaking.
She had to reveal so much to Ryker. He’s not just the man she’s falling for. He’s also HER DEFENCE LAWYER.

Imagine having to trauma dump some of the most painful parts of your life onto someone before you even know whether they’re going to stick around. Before you know if they’re worth the vulnerability, the emotional exhaustion, and the pain of reliving everything.

Now, onto several fictional men who need to be launched directly into the sun…

That lawyer Wolf. Judge Theodore Kerns. And Kerns JUNIOR.

The imbalance of power makes it even more infuriating. Watching people abuse their positions while someone like Faith has to fight for her future? I WAS FUMING.

On a lighter note, i will take a moment to appreciate Rainbow the dog!😂❤️
I desperately need to see that photo on Ryker’s desk. Kathy, please! 😂

🎙️ Narration
Andi Arndt and Thomas Oakley did a fantastic job with this audiobook.
The subject matter is heavy, and both narrators brought so much emotion to their performances. They captured the tension, vulnerability, frustration, and heartbreak in a way that made the story feel incredibly immersive.

Thank you to Kathy Lockheart and Valentine PR for the advanced listeners copy of Doubt. This is book 4 in a 5 part series and every book is better than the next, the narrators in this series are spot on! Doubt Duet Narration by: Thomas Oakley and Andi Arndt. Giving us the story of Ryker and Faith, who had me flip flopping between happy and sad tears throughout!

Bonus appeal to this series is the banter between the Saints and Sinners, they literally had me laughing aloud so often the time flew by listening. These morally grey men (my bookish weakness) are some of my favorites. The most anticipated audio is coming soon and we will finally get a dose of Knox and the mystery surrounding his incarceration.

A protective, morally gray attorney who will do whatever it takes for the woman he loves? Yes, please! 😂🔥

Faith and Ryker’s story has a little bit of everything you need for romance, suspense, secrets, and a murder mystery that keeps things interesting. And the whole brother’s best friend situation just adds even more tension!

Ryker is definitely the kind of hero who takes protecting his girl seriously, and Faith has so much going on with her past and everything she’s facing. And with this being an audiobook, I really like how the story has that extra suspenseful atmosphere. 🎧❤️

Thank you so much to Kathy Lockheart and Valentine PR for the opportunity to listen to this ALC and share my honest thoughts!
