A. Philip Randolph is definitely the supreme leader of the African American labor movement. He did so much work to pave the way for the culture in this country. He definitely had the J*U*ICE as proven with his ability to meet with U.S. presidents. This book gets straight to the point with facts about this great American icon.

This is a must read if you want to know about the national leader who paved they way for Martin Luther King, JR. Unofficially passing the torch to him at the March for Jobs and Freedom Washington, D.C., 1963.

Vice president AFL-CIO, Medal; of Freedom, first president Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters, activist, organizer, and all that. Everything a labor leader should be today and more.

Hard to put this book down. Awesome collector item for discussion anytime of the year.
