The H runs out on his pregnant girlfriend because his MC Brothers don't approve so to get back in their good books he dumps his PREGNANT girlfriend, ostracises her & gropes club whores on his lap in front of her repeatedly. But he doesn't totally cheat on her.

Her family are disgusting, they reject her and welcome the H back when he dumps their pregnant daughter/granddaughter/niece/family member. And they party with this asshole in the club while he parties with club whores, but they banish her from being in the club so can't see him in action. Nice family.

She claims she's not a doormat like her aunt/mother who let their men cheat on them and abuse them for years and then forgave them.

But she does the same thing, she does not even get an apology from the asswipe...which she earned.

And she doesn't even call her male relatives out on all pain and heartache they caused like it's nothing. No apology from any of the loser men. Just like all the other women in this series she is a complete doormat.

These are the worst men I've ever read, they treat their women like SHIT and continue to fuck up over and over and over BIG.

SPOILERS:

Glock, the hero has loved the heroine since she was younger (13 year age difference) but he leaves her because his MC brother tells him to stay away from the heroine, his daughter.
I felt for the hero has he had a rough upbringing, abuse/rape from his foster parents. So he feels he owes the MC because they saved him when he was really low but I didn’t feel this epic love he had for the heroine. He was willing to walk away from her (while shes pregnant with his babies) and pick his MC brothers over her.
Yet he is forgiven by the heroine without any apology or explanation. No groveling!

Again wayy to descriptive not enough dialogue!!

I skimmed a lot!!

UPDATE: 2018
=============
The heroine forgives him very easily. It gave me a huge rage !!!!
He takes her virginity and then ignores her completely.
After club members find out about their relationship he resents her and kicks her like yesterday's trash.
She sees him with other women and he fucks the club whores. She is completely humiliated and disrespected.
Another doormat and an asshole reaching their HEA.
cheater + dumbass = couple of year
=================

“Yeah, yeah. The thing is, I asked her out, and she said yes, we went on some dates, and now I guess that means I’ve got my first girlfriend. You proud of me, being all grown up and shit?”

“Uh-huh, so all of a sudden you’ve decided to put your nasty black book away, tear down your wall calendar with sex appointments, and commit?”

who takes someone’s virginity the way he did mine, tenderly, passionately, and possessively. Demanding I tell him who I belong to, making me feel like I’m the only woman in the world he wants to make love to for the rest of his life, and then doesn’t call. Doesn’t reply to messages, and avoids me like I have a severe case of herpes. A miserable asshole, that’s who.

It’s been seven weeks, four days, thirteen hours, and twenty-six minutes since I last saw or heard anything from Glock,

And he is, ignoring me that is. I’ve called, I’ve text, I’ve even tried showing up at his house, nothing. He doesn’t answer, he doesn’t reply, and he’s never home, I recognized his silence for what it was, complete and utter lockout. Glock had shut down on me, shut me out.

“You all wanna preach about brotherhood, respect, loyalty, well Glock’s got that in spades. It’s you who should give a thought to what you’re saying. The man claimed his woman in front of you, you should be congratulating him, not treating him like the fucking enemy.”

I feel like shit admitting it, but I hold some resentment toward the woman I love for being the one thing keeping me from my brothers, and my club.

Lex has been doing everything in her power to be everything to me. To make up for my brothers effectively turning their backs on me.

Apparently, it doesn’t matter how much I push her away, how much I yell at her, how much I make her feel like it’s all her fault she stills stays.

She doesn't live with me, I haven't asked to her to move in, and I don’t see myself doing it either.

I’ve missed Lex’s first obstetrician’s appointment, the first ultrasound,...

“I can’t be with her if it means losing my brothers, Rob. I just can’t.”

“I don’t want her to know I can’t love her the way I thought I could, I don’t want to hurt her like that. But I don’t want to keep pretending like I have been. I don’t want to look her and think that this is all her fault. That if it wasn’t for her I’d be better off.”

I would’ve waited for her to have enough of my shit and leave me before I told her the truth. Trying again I advance, but she retreats.

You made it clear where your priorities lie, and I won’t have you dragging anyone else into a fight you created.”

Tobias ‘Saint’ Phillips ==> CHEATER OR NOT? <==
Stacey one of the club whores climbs on to my lap where I’m sitting at the bar and starts purring in my ear. “You’ve got fifteen minutes before you have to be in church, I can take care of that for you first if you want,” she says squeezing my semi-hard cock firmly.

wish I had time to take her up on her offer though. A blow job from a woman who can deep throat all the way down to the base of my shaft sounds fucking phenomenal.

I didn’t make it home for three days after Liam’s patch party, but that’s a story for another time.

And he had decided I was the reason for the club turning their backs on him, so the only obvious solution to him was to cut me out in order to win them back, and it worked.

==>CHEATER<==
If one of the brothers saw I was in the same room while Candice was crawling all over him they would try their best to engage me in some meaningless, transparent conversation in an attempt to distract me.

I’m a firm believer in Glock having made his bed so now he needs to lie in it.

==> OW <==
I was, faced with Glock and another woman.

Candice is wrapped around Glock like a vine. Her head hanging back, exposing her neck to his kisses. He’s cupping her ass in his hands as she sits straddled across his lap, in what can only be described as a stripper belt turned skirt. Her ass is literally hanging out for all to see, and all I can do while I witness this very tragic event is shake my head in disgust.

he’s treating me like I’m nothing, and I won’t tolerate that shit.

Such a promising heroine...sigh

So another ass who gives up instead of fighting for his h. No thanks! All the family turn their backs on her including her parents and just leave her at the most important time of her life, yet all is forgiven without any explanation or apology. At the start of the drama all she kept thinking and saying was she wasn't going to put up with his crap or accept it and yet that's exactly what she did. I'm done with this series. The next book looks like way to much angst and the author never gives me any payoff after what she puts the heroine through.

The ideas of this book remind me somewhat of one of my favorite authors Madeline Sheehan. Undeniable is one of my favorite books. The execution though just doesn’t get it. There is way too much rambling inner monologue. The dialogue gets lost in it. The H says something and five pages later the fmc responds. I had to flip back and forth because who can remember a one liner dialogue question after 5 pages of rambling. Anyway this is an age gap and the H has been in love with the fmc forever… lots of stuff happens and you have to weed through it to get to this couples story. My best advice to the author… learn how to condense your thoughts. This could have been a great story if it wasn’t for the rambling.

I thought this series couldn't get worse but it could. Cheating, disgusting behavior, and absolutely NO apologies, these women just jump into the men's arms. I'm confused reading this awfulness, the heroes in any of these books don't even say sorry and the girls forgive them. And the author has the heroine speak to the reader to defend why they make the choice, spouting nonsense that thry aren't weak, it would be weak to not forgive. ummm, take my advice and skip the whole series.

This was book 5 in the Devils Spawn series. These are the worst group of men I have ever read. They treat the women they supposedly love like shit on the shoe...and what makes it worse they are forgiven with 0 groveling to redeem them to us the reader. I only have one more book to finish this series to read by I am afraid. I would like just one of these men to be decent. Sheesh

I really thought that this time it might be different. Maybe, just maybe we would have a heroine who would stand up for herself. But no, yet another doormat. These books have so much potential, and at the outset, seem to have strong characters, but in the end, despite heinous treatment by the H, the h just kind of rolls over and accepts being walked all over. Have a little self respect, ladies.

I liked the first books in this series and was looking forward to this one. Looking at all of the high ratings I was wondering if it was just me that felt the book just failed to appeal to me. I almost put it in the DNF file a couple of times but kept on going. There's so many things I didn't like....the editing was terrible; the H has loved her forever, even as a child, can't live without her but then kicks her to the curb because he can't lose the "brothers"; the h is portrayed both as a hard as nails 19 year old girl raised in the MC and a weak, spineless victim when she takes the H back without any questions after hearing him say he can't give up the club for her; he ignores her during her pregnancy; Daddy hates the H but then miraculously forgives him even though the H practically abandoned the h. I could go on. The "kidnapping" scene was beyond OTT silly and the following "torture" scenes seemed contrived and as much OTT as the silly kidnapping.
It's the usual "I'm not good enough for you and you deserve better" defense.

I have loved this couple from the first book and was so glad to finally get to read their book. I wish Glock would have have fought for her harder, but i understand his thought process. I am so glad everything worked out for them. Great read!

This was the story I was holding out for! Finally! I am in love with Glock and Lexi. From their very first encounter I knew there would be a good story to come. Lexi makes this book more than good. She is an independent and very strong woman both physically and emotionally. Glock is a stubborn ass but he has his reasons and they relate to his abusive past.

Well written story (still an editing issue) and one I've really liked reading. Even the ending lead ups to Tilly and Saint's story have me excited to keep reading! And on that note, I'm onto the next!

Where To Start

I like this series mostly. The men in this club are tougher than most other motorcycle books. However, sometimes the things they do and expect their women to put up with is just crap! This story was a little disjointed at times and my kindle copy had all the editing marks still in it. Not cool.

Im still mad when i think about how the club essentially exiled Lexi while pregnant. They were supposed to be her family and they dropped her like a hot potato. Her dads a dick, the H is a dick and no one apologized 🤬

Why why why?

It was going so good. THe hero didnt ask for forgiveness for his bad choices. I saw his guilt but come on. Why would you do that author? She just jumped back in his arms after what he did! He chose his brothers over her. I get that why he did that, she got that. But she was hurt and she should have taken the stand till sometime at least. She was set to not be a doormat and that is what she ended up being. I get when you fall in love with someone and cannot live without them you give them chance but not like this plz.

I hated what the so called brothers did to hero and heroine. Hated Cage and her family in this one. Ended up hating hero and heroine too. I feel so dissapointed because I was liking the story.

He will chose his "brothers" over her in future too but I guess she is okay with that. She has accepted it.

These books are so captivating and then they just crash. it seems someone else takes over the writing around the mid of the book.

She forgives him without any discussion at all!! What would have happened if her dad never came to talk to the H? Would he still have a change of heart or would he have kept blowing her off? I understand why the club is so important to the H but the h was supposed to be important to him as well. He blew her off not even caring how the pregnancy was going! I would still give this author another try though.

Enjoyable, Entertaining reads.
All Books in the Devil Spawn series and Vengeance series either have A few spelling errors, Letters missing from words eg hem instead of them, he instead of her etc, and other misc errors such as timeline not matching or description of events not matching in other books.
Apart from these issues I enjoyed the books and series.

recommend.

Disappointed

As much as I love this series I really hate the heroines are set up
For so much heartbreak by the heros . Then take them back with no consequences. Glock hurt her continuely and at the drop of a hat she forgives him with no apology. Come on ladies where's the
your backbone.

Yeah, writing and entire series of doormat FMC who forgive cheating loser "Alpha" male behavior with zero grovel or consequences... that about does it.

Wow can you say doormat. I can get on board with an alphahole but he has got to bring the grovel when he screws up. This was an epic fail.

Better and better

Each story this author writes gets better and better. Lexi is so strong and did things on her own because she had to. I still think she should have made him suffer a little. Glock might have had his darkness but she proved to him she could help him. Also, all the men of the MC deserted her, but she stood strong. The way I see it, they still owe her. You have got to read this whole series. Now on to the next one. Can't wait.

I have read every book in this series and have liked them all. This book was good but it felt too much like I was reading the same story over again only with different characters and slight adjustments here and there. I don't ever go by others reviews as I like to give my own opinion, but I have to agree with 1 other one that this story (not unlike the other books) was too contradictory for my tastes. IE.. one minute Lexi is the sweet/innocent/mc princess, the next she's all back bone & spitfire, the next she turns into a badass that overtakes a prospect and her captor, then she turns into the perfect loving housewife/old lady ready to do anything to help and support her man, even though he ignored her for months. Her character is all over the place! With the other books, most of the characters were more stable in the their roles and made for an easier read. There was also lots of editing problems in this book and they only got worse closer to the end. The other thing that I didn't care for was the use of the guys given names instead of their road names at the beginning of each chapter. It was confusing to say the least. I really liked the story line and believe it would have made for a great book if the h's character had been portrayed better. (MY OPINION!) The story had lots of grit, angst, action, betrayal, heartache, love, as well as being funny, and overall was a good book.. I was kinda disappointed in the intimate scenes cause it started off good but then cut off to him just describing what happened afterwards or was only him describing what he wanted to do. I know the author can write some really HOT & steamy scenes, as shown in her previous books. What was there was really good, just wish this would've had more. I am by no means trying to belittle or talk down about the book, author, or her hard work! These are just my opinions on what I did/didn't like and what I would have like to have seen more of. I really like this series and I am looking forward to the next book. I do recommend this series and even with the issues I have with this book, I recommend that you read it for yourself.

I have been waiting for this book for since the very first devils spawn book as you get a preview in the first book of what will happen between Glock and his "princess."
There are some points in his book that are like dejavu that I had read something almost identical in another book, even down to the surprise with "the baby."
That said this book holds up on its own and is not completely the same as teh book I have previously read this has some additions with Glock's back story, and Robs addition at the end was good I liked his reality check with Glock over his club an Alexis, I personally wanted to hit Glock at this stage in the book.
It didn't blow me away as much as I wanted it to, there are some gritty moments in this book when Glock gets to avenge his past and when his past is recounted.
I do think that Glock is not as damaged in the book as he would actually be if he had lived through his experience I would like to see more angst.
I know that the MC is his family and is everything but so was his girl!, I think Alexis needed to fight more for her man it was like she just rolled over.
Life is not easy in general and she is a tough cookie his is shown at different points in the book so you would think she might be a bit more like Lou and grabbed him by the nuts so to speak.

Don't get me wrong I still loved the book and you will have a good read with a good story I just wanted 5 stars and amazing as I was looking forward to it probably too much. Still love the series

I am being generous with my rating...it really is 3.5 stars for a somewhat interesting story (characters were all broken and complex in their own way) but definitely 2.5 for the editing. I unfortunately also got one of the bad copies that had lines through words and underlined sentences for a whole two chapters so I know the wrong file was uploaded to Amazon. Lucky for me the copy I got was when it was a freebie so I read it anyway but I think the author really needs a cleaner edit before releasing (not to mention all the spelling errors).
Glock and Lexi had their moments...times I liked them together and others when it just all got to be too much drama and back and forth. As with the first books in this series, the men of the MC are way too bossy and do so many wrong things thinking they are for the best (but at too great of a cost for their women). There was an awful lot of inner dialogue and descriptive passages and not enough actual speaking for my taste (I want characters to interact not have to read two pages of backstory before they respond to each other) but I suppose that was the author's way of making sure we understood the turmoil and deep seated issues her characters were living with.
The ending was a too nice finish after what Lexi and Thomas went through but at least they got to have their HEA while others were left hanging (next book).
It could have been much better with attention made to details and a cleaner file of the book.
