The Birmingham chapter is the even kinkier side of the Rolling Thunder MC. This story is for the fans of OCD Sadistic Dom with a compliant smart slave.

I really loved the suspenseful start of the book and their meeting. I loved how they seem to be perfect for each others with their genius intellect, their kink, their physical preferences, their goals. What I enjoyed from this author is how vivid the descriptions are, how the food is always mouthwatering, how the female leads are often strong, independent, smart, and resourceful while being vulnerable and relatable. I am also a fan of dual pov where I can understand their feelings, motivations, and complex psyche especially in the context of kink relationship.

I'm looking forward to the second book to get into the suspenseful high stakes mission. Of course, I'm also eagerly waiting for how they will make their real life work together. This first book was such a tease, putting everything in place before the anticipated conclusion. I'm looking forward to it!

Magnum....woowee! Candace Blevins gives us a different type of shifter this time. It was most interesting. Storm is an investigative reporter who's gotten a little to close to the truth of the wrong people. She calls on her good friend, Nickie, to help her out. RTMC Birmingham member, Magnum, is assigned to guard her. Not his usual role but he takes it seriously. There's a lot of sides to this man and though she tries to find answers he's reluctant to reveal much. However she soon finds that he's a man of structure, routines, rigid rules, boundaries and a perfectionist. Everything about him speaks to her submissive side. Not only does he give her what she desires but also what she didn't know she needed. They work with Birmingham members to find answers and set up an operation while he keeps on her toes every step of the way. The outcome? You'll have to wait for volume 2.

I am always amazed at the way Candace Blevins gets us so invested in her stories, it’s all in the details for me.

Story starts off on the first page, Storm has gotten involved with some not-so-good people and has had to make a run for it and lands in Magnum’s house. A house that he runs with rules and discipline, something that really turns her on.

These two are made for each other, but there are many questions as to how they can make a relationship work. As they work together with other members of the MC to get the bad guys and protect Storm, we see each of the inner workings, and how they are falling for each other.

Great storyline that keeps you on your toes, and be advised that this is part 1, so the continuation will be forthcoming very soon.

Once again Candace has created the perfect characters who are made for each other and I couldn’t put it down. Magnum and Storm are drawn to each other when he is chosen to protect her after she stumbles upon some very dangerous people as a reporter and the sparks start flying when they both notice their kinks are right up each others allies. Which will take you down one steamy road when they finally decide to act on it and give you a fabulous read. In a world of shifters in a MC with major tendencies leaning to bdsm masochist and sadist will leave you spell bound and screaming for more! I can’t wait to read book two for more Magnum and Storm explosive story. I received this eARC and gladly give it my honest review.

I love these bikers. I love when Candace writes a non wolf shifter and we get to learn all about a new species. I absolutely love when an FMC is not helpless or depending on her MMC to save the day and her. Storm is so strong in this book knows exactly what she wants and how she’s gonna get. I loved watching her fall for Magnum and his high protocol ways. She had to measure her self-worth against those and still being able to separate out her submissive side from her reporter and woman’s side was absolutely fascinating to read. I absolutely adored how hard Magnum fell for her. Every time he licked her tears I ooed and ahhed. I really appreciate it that Magnum respected her so much is not only a slave, but also a woman. I cannot wait for Book 2 to see how they save the day.

The chemistry between these two was off the charts! And it never waned, never diminished, and never toned down. They were so evenly matched, not just for their kinks, but their intellect, thoughts, and desires. More than that, the subject that brought them together was so interesting, I couldn’t turn away from the over-arcing problems they were trying to solve, or the problems they encountered while doing so. If one thing was quickly apparent to them both, don’t rely on first impressions, and don’t assume anything is as it seems. I am so ready for part 2 and how it all comes together, and how our couple, and all the secrets, come to pass!

A robust story line and uncomfortable, erotic and unconventional kink makes Magnum and Storm’s story one I could not put down! Woven in true Candace style, this RTMC Birmingham story has me chomping at the bit for part 2! And also in her style, Candace won’t be making her readers wait for long to find out the happily ever after she’s crafted for Magnum and Storm.
