What in the southern fried freak fest!? Wow this was a fun interconnected journey featuring some of the most depraved and deplorable characters I've ever laid eyes on. Asher Dark and Carietta Dorsch are truly a pair pried out the darkest reaches of Tartarus. I had a lot of fun reading this and as a southerner myself. This truly conjured images of all my weirdest memories. I surely recommend this to those who want to experience peak trailer terror and travesty.

Sweet sassy molassy! WTF did I just read? This book is exactly what you would expect from the title and then some! It was definitely everything I hoped it would be. I also learned some new vocabulary such as Hershey shot,” “baloney slit,” and “yogurt slinger.”

Splatterpark: Beer Cans and Shotguns is a short collection of stories all taking place in Pine Park Trailer Park in a quintessential hick town. The stories intertwine and branch out into some of Asher’s other works. Vile, nauseating and disgusting are understatements while venturing through these pages. It’s some of the hillbilliest, redneckiest sh!t I’ve ever seen. (Yes I know those aren’t words, but read these stories and you’ll get it.)

How did so much wrongness get packed into such a short book? Asher & Carietta are just masters of the craft. Asher Dark is one of my favorite Splatterpunk scream queens, and though this was my first encounter with Carietta Dorsch, she almost made me vomit a couple times so mission accomplished!

This collection is chock full of hyperbolic southerners, bodily fluids you can smell through your e-reader, and just a perfect touch of the supernatural. And I couldn’t forget about Charlotte the pig who makes an appearance in each story. Also, that epilogue was perfection. If you’re looking for a fun, repulsive read, this is the book for you!

We meet Drake a rather despicable character carrying out his own sexy session in one trailer. His neighbours meanwhile are arguing over which one of the sisters can bed their uncle.
This story follows the lives of the people living on the trailer park. It is both hilarious and vomit inducing all rolled into one! This trailer park is utter carnage and when the supernatural descends my god it is chaos in the best way! I loved this one!
