Wow, wow, WOW! Wild & Worthy absolutely blew me away! This book had me giggling and kicking my feet, hiding my face in my hoodie blushing, laughing out loud and stressed on the edge of my seat! I had the opportunity to beta read this novel and I, truly, had the best time reading and chatting with the author and other beta readers! So much love and work was put into this novel and it is very evident!

SWOON. 😍 Daddy Chase Walker is top tier book boyfriend material! 🤤 We love a confident, but secretly soft king! 🙌🏼 I also adore Addie's sassy, boss babe confidence and ability to turn the tables in a second to show you her fun and playful side too! I love both of them so much on their own, but TOGETHER?! 🎆🤯 Dynamic duo! Perfection! Thank you so much to Rebecka Cole for giving me the opportunity to read Wild & Worthy early! I’ve read all the books in this series so far, and this is quickly becoming one of my favorite cowboy romance series.
Chase. This. Man. 😭 He absolutely broke my heart. Underneath everything is this sweet, wounded man who holds everything so close to his chest. He’s spent his life doing things for everyone else while hiding how badly he wants someone to simply choose him, love him, and stay. And then you add in everything surrounding his little boy? My heart could not handle it. Chase’s story had me tearing up one minute and kicking my feet the next.
Then there’s Addie, and GIRL loved her. She’s strong, confident, knows exactly what she wants and knows what she deserves. She isn’t afraid to go after it, and she definitely isn’t afraid to tell Chase exactly how she feels. I especially loved that she continually gave him reasons to trust her, even when his past made that incredibly difficult for him.
Their story starts with one very simple rule: don’t touch your best friend’s little sister. Chase has managed to follow it for years until an injury takes him off the rodeo circuit and lands him riding shotgun on Addie’s eight-week summer tour. Suddenly it’s two people, one truck, miles of open road, and years of attraction that are getting harder and harder to ignore. Somewhere between Montana and Wyoming, that rule starts looking pretty pointless.
And can we talk about the brother’s best friend trope?! One of my favorite things was that once Chase and Addie crossed that line, this wasn’t a relationship they spent the entire book desperately trying to hide. Chase wanted this woman, and he was not ashamed of it. He wanted people to know Addie was his. Watching this emotionally guarded man fall absolutely head over heels for her was EVERYTHING.
The communication between these two was also such a win for me. Chase definitely struggles to open up because of his past, but Addie doesn’t play games with him. Their banter, chemistry, tension, emotional moments, and romance all worked so well together. And the spice?! I was not prepared. 🔥 Chase may be an absolute sweetheart, but apparently that does not mean innocent.
I read this in about a day and a half because I genuinely could not put it down. I laughed, cried a little, kicked my feet, and completely fell for Chase and Addie. Wild & Worthy gave me the cowboy romance, brother’s-best-friend tension, road-trip forced proximity, emotional healing, and swoony romance I wanted and Chase Walker officially has my heart. ❤️

Oh my word... Chace Walker. That’s it. That’s the review.
Just kidding—but seriously, Wild & Worthy by Rebecka Cole was absolute perfection. Chace’s backstory, his past struggles, and his deeply relatable internal battle of never feeling like he’s enough? Thanks for the personal attack, Rebecka, because that hit way too close to home.
And then there's Addie. She is a total badass—a sassy, boss-babe queen who can turn the tables in a split second, and the exact kind of fiercely loyal woman you want in your corner. On his own, Chace is the ultimate "confident on the outside, secretly soft marshmallow on the inside" king. But together? Pure, unadulterated fireworks. Since he’s her brother’s best friend, they’ve known each other forever, which means the built-in history, witty banter, and delicious, slow-simmering tension are completely off the charts.
And you already know my golden rule: zero plot spoilers under any circumstances. So while I can't spill the details on Chace’s character arc, watching him grow was nothing short of immaculate. You’re just going to have to read it yourself to experience the glow-up.
I went into this knowing approximately zero things about the rodeo circuit, but the writing makes the entire world feel completely effortless and accessible without dumping info on you. The pacing was flawless, the chemistry felt 100% authentic, and the found-family dynamics wrapped the whole story in the coziest bow.
Emotionally, this book ran me through the entire wringer: I was giggling, physically kicking my feet, burying my blushing face in my hoodie, laughing out loud, and then sitting on the edge of my seat in a total stubborn-character-induced panic. One minute I wanted to shake them both for being so wildly stubborn, and the next I was melting into a puddle because Chace did something ridiculously sweet.

I was lucky enough to be able to beta read this book and I loved every minute of it.
First off, Rebecka totally had the Elsie Silver vibe with Wild & Worthy. This is technically the second book in her series but I have not read the first book YET. I do not feel like I'm missing crucial info for having not read Legacy & Lace first. It does make me want to go back and read that one, so that's always a little bonus. Who doesn't love an endless TBR 😉
I love both Addie and Chace separately, and together. Chace specifically had a great character arc, but I can't say more than that, you'll have to read it for yourself 🤐 Addie's just a strong badass woman that I would love to have in my corner.
Addie and Chace have known each other for the better part of their entire lives (because Chace is best friends with Addie's brother of course), and it makes for such fun banter and tension.
This book is very rodeo-forward, and I know almost nothing about that world, but Rebecka did a great job explaining things in a natural way as they came up so I was never confused about any of it.
The writing was great, the pacing didn't feel off, and the chemistry felt authentic.

So I enjoyed this book. For me it started a little slow but once I got hooked I was hooked and didn’t want to put it down So Chace is so frustrating through parts of the book where you just want to slap him upside the head the disappearing and and ignoring Addie pissed me off for her lol. He’s such a great mmc though. I feel for him and his situation. Makes me feel so bad for him that he tried to handle everything himself. Now Addie is a badass and miss independent. She has to control everything. One thing I didn’t care for about her is how she has known the mmc most of her life but actually doesn’t know him at all and has this preconceived picture in her head of who he is. She never even gave him a chance or tried to know him. I’m glad eventually she learns the real him because he is such a great guy. If you love cowboy romance then you definitely need to read this book. Even though it’s book 2 of a series it can be read as a stand alone.

CHASE!!! 🤠🥵🔥 A gorgeous, stubborn, injured cowboy who knows damn well he shouldn’t be looking at his best friend’s little sister THAT way?! There are books you enjoy, and then there are books that completely consume your attention. Wild & Worthy was definitely the second kind for me. I was hooked on Chase and Addie’s story and flew through this book because putting it down was simply not an option.
I met these two in book 1 and could not wait for their story! Let me tell you…. They did not disappoint ❤️
Chase is the kind of hero who looks tough on the outside but has so much emotion underneath the surface. His past has left him guarded, and watching him slowly let Addie in was one of my favorite parts of the entire story. He’s protective, possessive, vulnerable, and ridiculously swoony all at once.
And Addie? I FREAKING LOVE HER. She knows what she wants, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and refuses to let Chase hide behind his walls. Their personalities play off each other so well, and the banter had me smiling constantly.

There are books you enjoy, and then there are books that completely consume your attention. Wild & Worthy was definitely the second kind for me. I was hooked on Chase and Addie’s story and flew through this book because putting it down was simply not an option.
I met these two in book 1 and could not wait for their story! Let me tell you…. They did not disappoint ❤️
Chase is the kind of hero who looks tough on the outside but has so much emotion underneath the surface. His past has left him guarded, and watching him slowly let Addie in was one of my favorite parts of the entire story. He’s protective, possessive, vulnerable, and ridiculously swoony all at once.
And Addie? I FREAKING LOVE HER. She knows what she wants, isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and refuses to let Chase hide behind his walls. Their personalities play off each other so well, and the banter had me smiling constantly.

Wow Rebecka knocked it out of the park with this book and these characters! There’s just something about the way Rebecka writes makes you think you’re right there in the rodeo with Chace cheering on Addie!
This is the epitome of a cowboy/cowgirl romance. It had just the right balance of romance, spice, rodeo, and other moments.
Just when I thought I loved Eli, Chace said oh no hold my beer! The way I LOVED Chace and Addie is so real! This is quite literally one of my favorite cowboy romances of the year!
Chace is a sweet, loving, caring ex bull rider. This man goes through it but he hides behind his care free facade. Addie is a dream chaser determined to do it independently until Chace is there showing up in all the little ways. The way Addie sees Chace completely and 100% for the man he truly is? Chace cheering on Addie, taking care of her even though she’s independent? Yes please sign me up for all of it!
Addie finding everything she’s never knew she wanted and accomplishing her dreams. Chace and his vulnerability. The banter and friendship between these two had me eating this book up. Just overall such a special love story!

From start to finish, I loved every damn second of Wild and Worthy! And let’s be honest, I’ve been ready for this book since about halfway through book one.
Chace, our MMC, has been set up for us to fall head over heels for him from the beginning. He’s cheeky, he’s been in love for longer than he even realises, and underneath it all he has the most caring heart, one he tries desperately to hide because he thinks people will leave if they see too much of it. (How wrong was he?!)
He has SO much depth… and let’s not forget the man is smoking hot.

Rebecka Cole leveled up this one, it felt like the writing was next level, just that little bit more fine tuned and faster paced than Legacy & Lace. You have me Rebecka, I will be reading what you write next.
I thought I was going to enjoy Addie and Chase’s story, best friend’s little sister, say no more! There banter was on point and what you would expect from two people who grew up with each other but never looked at the other as something other than you best friends little sister, until one day you start really seeing her and get a particular enjoyment out of pushing her buttons.
And in true best friend’s little sister trope there is that conflicting moment when X finds out. I like how Rebecka wrote this that there wasn’t a lingering emphasis on this being a main point in the story, but more a natural development.
As the story progresses the two develop into their own, Addie finding herself, away from the Ranch and her brother and Chase learns that he will still be loved when he shows his true self to those around him.

The prologue got me. I started crying and was in my feels. And then the first chapter hits and im giggling and kicking my feet😫
Addie is such a kickass girl. Her love for her sport and what she was is absolutely beautiful. She NEVER gave up and it shows all the effort and love she put in works 🥹 When shes forced to travel with someone shes always pushed away but cant stop thinking about things become messy(😉). Chace stepped up to be our girls right hand man and help her anyway he can.
That forced proximity was so beautiful. The banter. The push and pull between eachother..good lord a girl was feral🤭

Umm Mkk Rebecka what did you put in here because ma’am you just blew me away! Now, I love Legacy and Lace but Wild Worthy felt like something right out of a movie and I need like the extended credits. A summer spent at the rodeo circuit with your brothers best friend? Umm yes please!
The sexual tension between Addie and Chace could burn a freakin high rise down. Omg. The banter between these two was definitely a favorite of mine but Chace’s thoughts seriously had me laughing at loud. Ah that man has a filthy, flirty mind that I need more of.
I seriously just want to wrap that man up and tell him how freaking amazing he is and the future is so bright. After the life he’s been dealt, he deserves all the happiness in the world. I seriously loved Addie and her fierce attitude. The way she doesn’t mess around, goes for what she wants, and completely meets Chace right where he needs her to be.

I loved the slow, longing burn with all the hot spice this story gave us.
Addie has always had a thing for her big brother’s best friend. Chace has always been the brother’s best friend and been known as a player.
They both are on the rodeo circuit and have to go out on the road, traveling town to town. Eli, Addie’s big brother trusts Chace to go with Addie on the road and help keep an eye on her. Little did they all know that would soon put them in forced proximity to start the embers of a fire that have been burning for a while.
You won’t want to put it down and the ending now has me wondering what is next for this series!

It's been YEARS since I've picked up a good rodeo romance, and Wild & Worthy by Rebecka Cole reminded me why the cowgirl in me has always loved these stories!
Chase drove me absolutely nuts in the beginning, and I couldn't blame Addy one bit for giving him a hard time. But as their story unfolded, I found myself connecting with BOTH characters in ways I never expected. There were moments that made me laugh, moments that reminded me of my own marriage, and one particular part that had me crying my eyes out.
The chemistry between Chase and Addy was undeniable, and the family drama added even more to the storyline. This is definitely a spicy romance, but the intimate scenes can be skipped without losing the story.
I'm already hoping there's another book coming in the Ashford Ridge series!

I'm so sad, I finnished the book. It was so great. I could not get enough of Chace his humor. I think he is my new bookboyfriend. How he pushes Addie's buttons. She sees right through him. The sexual tension between the two of them.
While reading the book, I felt like a little birdie. Watching from the side. How everything unfolds. And I loved it.
The sneakpeak you get of the rodeo life. How determent Addie is and her love for her horse Dusty.
Some characters from Legacy & Lace come by in the book. It was great to read, how their story continues.

Chace completely stole my heart. Underneath his guarded exterior, he is a sweet, wounded man who has spent his life caring for others while secretly longing to be chosen and loved. Addie is everything you want in a heroine: strong, confident, and completely unapologetic about what she wants and deserves. She stands by Chace and constantly proves he can trust her, despite his painful past.
Tropes that will automatically pull me in: brother’s best friend and forced proximity. Rebecka delivered just that with a side of flirty banter and an extra dash of spice. Their banter had me laughing, the flirting had me giggling, and the spicy scenes had me fanning myself. I highly recommend this book! I loved everything about it.

I was obsessed with this book by the end of the prologue. I was instantly all in, and then I completely devoured it. One of my favorite cowboy romances of the year, hands down! The banter and tension between Addie and Chace had me flying through the pages while not wanting it to end. Each character had their own distinct personality, Dusty included (😍), and each felt so easy to relate to. And don’t even get me started on that ending! I’m already so excited and looking forward to book 3. I officially have to read everything Rebecka Cole has written, and I need these books to be front and center on my bookshelf. Highly recommend for all romance lovers!

I LOVE this book!!! I loved it as much as the first one. I was lucky enough to be an early reader, and I hope that I can continue to do so.
The second book followed Chace and Addie, who were just as lovable, enjoyable and steamy , as the first book. The banter between the two were A+ and my favorite part of the whole book.
