Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. In addition to The Sixth Gun, his current projects include Crooked Hills, a middle reader horror prose series from Evileye Books; The Tooth, an original graphic novel from Oni Press; and various work for Marvel and DC. Somewhere along the way, Cullen founded Undaunted Press and edited the critically acclaimed small press horror magazine, Whispers from the Shattered Forum.

All writers must pay their dues, and Cullen has worked various odd jobs, including Alien Autopsy Specialist, Rodeo Clown, Professional Wrestler Manager, and Sasquatch Wrangler.

And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. Buy him a drink sometime, and he'll tell you all about it.

If you asked five years what is on my current reading list, I would have never have answered Deadpool. The Merc with the Mouth has been enjoying a revival lately. with his monthly book by Duggan and Posehn and the Cullen Bunn tetralogy of miniseries.

Bunn has consistently churned out entertaining books featuring Deadpool. After killing the multiverse and himself, Bunn places Deadpool in the middle of a classic zombie movie, with the mouthy merc the only splash of color in what is otherwise black and white story.

Another reason to enjoy this series would be the covers that parody classic movie posters with Deadpool in the midst of them wall. They make excellent desktop wallpaper.

Deadpool escapes the zombie-riddled city with the help of a handful of survivors - but where is a safe haven from the zombie apocalypse? And more importantly, do they have beer and chimichangas? Read the full review here!

One thing I've always hated about New York City... All the ¤#$%þ#$ zombies. I'm not sure how this mess started, but the undead pretty much came out of nowhere. and they spread like wildfire. Like crabs. Or One Direction fandom

I'm sorry, that intro made me laugh. 3.5 stars for this one.

Una mezcla de The night of the living dead, Dawn of the Dead, Land of the Dead, humor negro y anti-heroísmo que a mi gusto lo hace realmente genial y entretenido.

Apparently, lots of badass grannys live through the zombie apocalypse in the Marvel universe. I 100% approve. That coupled with Deadpool's sense of humor is really keeping me turning pages fast. We still haven't found out what is causing all this yet, but we're about to go into battle with a fair sized army running on the power of estrogen. Seriously, that last frame with the grannys wielding awesome weapons ... yeah. Totally rad.

Half the crew Deadpool met in the first issue died in this one. But they've found a town that's not been infected by plague ... in fact, that is the ass the grannys are prepared to kick? Why, do you ask? I am sure Deadpool is not going to care about that.

It's only going to take a tad bit more arm twisting in order to get me to subscribe to the ongoing series. Just a smidge more (I might as well give in now).

This issue was even better than the first, I loved the montage of references to various other zombie stories such as The Walking Dead, Evil Dead, and Dawn of the Dead.

A must read for any zombie fan. This issue ends on a great note making me itch for the next issue.

I'm loving this mini-series. I wonder what would happen to Deadpool if he was bitten. Also, Deadpool + zombies is perfect and wonderful.
