Cullen grew up in rural North Carolina, but now lives in the St. Louis area with his wife Cindy and his son Jackson. His noir/horror comic (and first collaboration with Brian Hurtt), The Damned, was published in 2007 by Oni Press. The follow-up, The Damned: Prodigal Sons, was released in 2008. In addition to The Sixth Gun, his current projects include Crooked Hills, a middle reader horror prose series from Evileye Books; The Tooth, an original graphic novel from Oni Press; and various work for Marvel and DC. Somewhere along the way, Cullen founded Undaunted Press and edited the critically acclaimed small press horror magazine, Whispers from the Shattered Forum.
All writers must pay their dues, and Cullen has worked various odd jobs, including Alien Autopsy Specialist, Rodeo Clown, Professional Wrestler Manager, and Sasquatch Wrangler.
And, yes, he has fought for his life against mountain lions and he did perform on stage as the World's Youngest Hypnotist. Buy him a drink sometime, and he'll tell you all about it.
Cullen Bunn's fourth successive Deadpool miniseries ends with a surprising twist. It's an ending that I didn't see that's for sure. It's a totally Deadpool ending to say the least.
What a final !!!! What a final !!!! A very good and entertaining story of Deadpool the vibes of "The Night of the Living Dead" and "The Walking Dead", the plot twists, the occurrences of Deadpool everything is a guaranteed plus for a good comic book.
Que final!!!! Que final!!!! Una muy buena y entretenida historia de Deadpool las vibras de "La noche de los muertos vivientes" y "The Walking Dead", los plot twists, las ocurrencias de Deadpool todo es un plus garantizado para un buen cómic.
That was an even better ending than I had guessed. I love it when things like that happen. Instead of curing everyone from being a zombie, he turns everyone into Deadpool zombies. All the same flavor, 100% less bite. This can't be a good thing for the world.
So yeah, I'll definitely be subscribing to this character. If I get more of this, then he and I are going to spend a looooot of time together. All the head jokes were hilarious. I knew he was going to stick that flashlight into decapi-Clarence's mouth.
The pop-culture references Deadpool makes really made me happy. "That'll do pig." There is so much "yes" in that line I nearly laughed for 30 minutes. This is totally one of the better mini-series I have read over the last few weeks. I don't know if it was any one element specifically that made me fall in love, but all of them together worked in such a way that made the concept alone irresistible ... and that's probably the only thing there is that is "stable" about Deadpool.
Wow, for a moment I thought it was gonna end tragically but, obviously, we're talking about Deadpool here so, of course, the end was funny and not at all expected.
