I make problems vanish for monsters who pay in cash and silence. Then a single mom and her fearless kid crashed my beach town operation and decided I belonged to them.
Her wary eyes see straight through my shadows. Her daughter names my tactical gear and demands sandcastle engineering lessons. And suddenly I’m canceling hits, restructuring body disposal schedules, and showing up for school events like a man who might actually stay.
She’s waiting for me to disappear when the blood calls.
I’m the fixer who’s choosing them instead. She thinks my world will break them.
I’ll prove it bends for family.
Read on for possessive fixer daddy, single mom chaos, deadly protection with dad jokes, found family obsession, and a ruthless made man who’ll hide the bodies but never hide from bedtime stories. HEA Guaranteed!
With a title like Fixer Daddy, I was expecting something much darker. And technically, Decker is a very dangerous man. He’s a “fixer,” which basically means bad men hire him to make their problems disappear.
But then a six-year-old named Harper gets involved, and suddenly this dangerous fixer is spending his Florida vacation surrounded by mermaids, seashells, sandcastles, and one tiny girl who has apparently decided he belongs to her now.
Honestly, Harper steals the show.
Lenny is a single mom who has spent two years saving enough money to take Harper on a month-long beach vacation. She’s practical, independent, and very careful about who she lets into their lives. Harper’s father abandoned them, and Lenny learned the hard way not to expect people to stay.
“I learned. You don’t ask for things you won’t get. Don’t put yourself in a position to hear ‘no’ when you already know what the answer is.”
Then Decker comes along and starts treating Harper like someone he genuinely wants in his life, not something he has to tolerate because he likes her mom. And that absolutely got me.
Decker is almost the opposite of Lenny. He’s never really had a home. He and his partner Marlow travel wherever the next contract takes them, and staying somewhere permanently has never been part of the plan. Until Harper adopts him, Lenny gets under his skin, and suddenly moving on isn’t quite as easy as it used to be.
For a book with such a wonderfully over-the-top dark romance title, the actual romance is surprisingly sweet. Most of the “dark” comes from Decker’s profession, because the relationship itself is about family, trust, and two people figuring out that maybe they can choose a life they never thought they were allowed to want.
There’s still danger and plenty of “Decker handles problems his own way,” but underneath all of that is a genuinely adorable found-family romance.
Basically: dangerous fixer meets single mom, gets adopted by her six-year-old, and accidentally acquires feelings and a family.
Not exactly what the title had me expecting, but I loved how sweet it turned out to be.

This series is a secret obsession. Stories that are too radical but also so addictive, with MMCs that are extremely dangerous (or/and disturbed by any logical standards) and are captivated by FMCs that are…well, ordinary. This story is no different, although I must point out that Decker, despite his gruesome profession as a fixer (he basically rearranges crime scenes in order for the criminals not to get caught), is one of the most…“normal”, I could say, MMCs in this series so far (if by “normal” one means that he could be considered more…sociably functional). He and his right hand man, Marlowe (whose nerdiness made me smile despite everything; who would have thought that someone like him would do what he does???) relocate to Seahaven for a month, having it as their base for several…jobs in the nearby areas. Lenny is the single mom of adorable – and talkative – six-year-old Harper and a third grade teacher. They find themselves to Seahaven on vacation. Harper, unexpectedly, forms a unique friendship – and bond – with both Decker and Marlowe. All while her mom and Decker fall slowly, but irrevocably, in love. I loved how Decker is amazing with both Lenny and Harper and I loved how, when he understands where he stands, doesn’t hesitate to put them first. A great fictional story that I absolutely adored! 5 stars

Fixer Daddy by Sasha Sin and Kelani Knox was a fun, spicy, and entertaining read! I loved the combination of danger, romance, humor, and the protective hero. The chemistry between the characters was great, and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop. The single-mom and found-family elements added plenty of heart to the story, while the suspense and possessiveness kept things exciting. The story has just the right amount of humor to balance the darker moments, making it an easy and enjoyable read. If you love dangerous alpha heroes, steamy romance, protective men, and a little chaos mixed in, this book is definitely worth checking out. Overall, Fixer Daddy was an enjoyable dark romance with a dangerous hero, single-mom romance, found family, and plenty of laughs.

He's a fixer who didn't stand a chance when he connects with Lenny and her adorable daughter harper. His job is to make things disappear and dispose of bodies but Harper when Harper steps into his world it does a one eighty and now he has a ready-made family. This endearing story had me in their corner and cheering them on. It is filled with drama and adorable moments that kept me glued to the pages.

Review of an advance copy received from the author.
A delightful story that takes us into the lives of Decker and single mother Lenny, and Harper and her six-year-old daughter. The storyline and characters hold your attention from the start with plenty of excitement, romance, and suspense.

How can two people write, read through and edit a book and still be so awful at timelines? And the amount of typos is criminal. I want to love this. But it doesn't deserve a better rating with so many mistakes.
And, honestly, missed opportunity for the FMC to accidently kill someone (the aggressive man who can't take no for an answer) and have MMC clean it up. I was kind of shocked that didn't happen.
You can't help but get hooked from the very beginning of this book. Its full of action, suspense and chemistry. You won't be able to put it down. I enjoyed every single moment of this spicy book. This is a must read!!
Fixer Daddy is a surprisingly sweet found-family romance. It’s incredibly fun watching a lethal fixer like Decker get instantly adopted by single mom Lenny and her six-year-old, Harper, stumbling into a cozy world he never knew he was missing.
This is my honest review of an advanced reader copy.
