it was so great to be back in pine falls!! i love this little world elodie created and im giddy for any chance to go back!
just like zoey, lola also has a pos parent! it runs in the town i guess because i also wanted to hit him up side the head! why can’t parents just love their kids and why do they have to traumatize them!
tyler and lola fit together like the perfect puzzle piece. she’s so sweet and has that wild side to her but only when tyler brings it out of her. and he’s SO protective of her. i love tyler’s relationship with his mom and sisters! the found family in pine falls is so sweet and everyone is just so tight knit! always supporting one another and i love the cameos!
i can’t wait for the next book!

CUTE AND COZY!!!! Lola was basically my favorite part of Hoax and Kisses, so I was so thrilled about her getting her own HEA, romance girly that she is.
And Tyler really was the perfect guy for her. I loved how they hit upon a lot of tropes (playing into that meta romance lover narrative) while still managing to feel like two real people. Tyler had his own struggles to work through, which was why he tried so hard to deny his feelings, but from the moment he realized Lola meant something to him, she became his first priority. And all romance readers — Lola included — hope and wish for the day that happens to them.
Once again, the small town of Pine Falls stole my heart, with the lovable side characters and cozy comforting vibes. I just hope that James is our next MC! I may have only known him for a few pages over the course of both books, but he’s such a sweetheart. I want a chaotic sunshine girl to knock him out of his routines and sweep him so far off his feet he can’t see straight. Manifesting that for a book three…
