Lizzie Hale is rarely not sleep deprived. She can't sleep alone, and even her meager excuse for a teddy bear (it's barely the size of her arm) doesn't help all of the time. Call it self prescribed insomnia if you will (though self prescribing doesn't help much when she refuses to go get checked). Because of her constant over-thinking behavior, and her fear for making new friends she kind of cornered herself to accept anyone that would be okay living with her in a cheap apartment, as long as they weren't psycho killers.
William Anderson accepted a last minute offer of an apartment with a girl. A girl. It's not like he expects to get laid, but he's not complaining. Though he doesn't exactly expect Elizabeth Hale either, and he surely doesn't expect for her to slowly become interested in his past, a past he'd rather keep hidden. A past that brings constant nightmares which he quiets by swallowing sleeping pills every night or else he can't sleep at all.
So when a certain bear is donated by accident and Lizzie stops Will from almost overdosing on sleeping pills they decide it's time to change something in their lives.
Hence they come up with an agreement to start sleeping together.
This is what I call clean romance :) It was such a nice read. I absolutely loved Will and Liza, they were perfect for each other. It was a story about acceptance and personal growth. I would recommend it for teens 16 and up.
Great Read! Really loved the humour and romance. Don't have much to say but I did have quite a lot of fondness for this novel. I believe it was creative to think of 'The Teddy Bear Agreement' and putting a story to such absurd statements. Suggested to those who are in to contemporary/romance/humour stories. The only thing I wasn't a an of was that Cassandra's character seemed like a whole complete different person and she changed in what seemed to be a short period of time.
This is one of my favorite books of all time!! (Like in my top 5) I first read it on wattpad and I've reread it like 3 times and loved it each time. 10/10 recommend.
I'm not even going to bother writing a long and detailed review for this one. Ending this book feels underwhelming because I expected so much and literally didn't get a single thing from my expectations. The beginning was good but this dragged out, and it became a pain in the ass for me to read it because there were too many unnecessary parts. Also, I had a difficult time trying to like the characters. They felt a bit too superficial to me. Also, I understand that this is a character-driven story but the way it was executed was so bland. Too bad.
Earth to Cassie and Will. They got my mind. This story is like a guide for how to love their Bae upon all their flaws even tho sometimes their flaws are unforgivable, And how couples have to give respect and gain respect between each other to maintain a good relationship. Needless to say that Lot of things gotta learned from this story. You got my words ;)
