I just finished this book.
It was very interesting and talks a lot about their history and conservation. Minnesota reintroduction is talked about in several chapters and about reintroduction into Yellowstone. These two have been very successful, so successful in fact in Minnesota that in Minnesota the wolf is no longer on the endangered species list.
I saw many years ago on PBS a documentary about reintroducing wolves into Yellowstone. It improved the ecosystem to it greatly. Even though many are opposed because of livestock, these conservation efforts went through.
Many interesting chapters about wolf behaviors I was able to see in my dog. All domesticated dogs are from the gray wolf simply manipulated by Man over the ages for traits including friendliness.
