Before some idiot calls me a misogynist I want to state I have no problem with a well-written female character. Unfortunately this Carol Danvers is NOT well-written. I was reading Supergirl comics in the early 1960s, had the first Batgirl issue, read Wonder Woman and even Lois Lane comics.
Her character had not yet evolved into the "butch" version that would later show up and though I dislike that version her costume at least made sense. This version's costume is just that- a costume. Impractical for fighting, ridiculous for anything else with a high exposure factor. What were they thinking?
Her goals are also difficult to fathom. I want to be the best but I want to do the least at the same time. No wonder she has gone through so many iterations, reboots, and reimaginings. Her best years seem to be the coma years after Rogue leeched off too much of her power.

Well it’s unfortunate when something starts at the very end of a single issue and you don’t have the one after it. Guess I’ll have to check out the rest of this Ms. Marvel run….
