Strange time loops, old photographs, an abused woman, evil misogynistic men, and a cursed camera. All of these ingredients make up The Curse of Edith Waits.

Do I fully understand what happened? No. Did I like Edith's grandson, Will? No. Did I feel badly for Edith? Yes. Did the short read freak me out a bit? Yes.

Amy Cross is an author that I will turn to when I need something spooky-eerie but not heavy. I enjoy most of the stories she writes.

Ediths husband(john) is a serial killer. Once they take a photo from an odd camera a random girl appears and he can kill them. No clue where the girls come from but it fills his hunger and they bury them in the garden. Fast forward to will the grandson who also is a dark soul. The camera that took the photos, once he gets a girl to touch the photo(taken by the camera) they disappear and he can do whatever he wants to them in the mean time.

I read this to collect the Single Scoop achievement for the Kindle Summer Challenge, which I've now completed (all 15 achievements).

After this, I will probably not be so OCD about completing these Kindle challenges. Some of these "achievements" just aren't worth the time.
