When Torin's brother causes an accident in the woods it's Torin to the rescue. One look at Hannah and he knows she's his mate. But she's running from someone and Torin will do all in his power to protect her. This is a great shifter romance, lots of great dialogue between Torin and Hannah. Sweet with a bit of steam. There's action and intrigue, great in depth characters and a wonderful story. I received a copy from the author and this is my honest review.

Great and Exciting

I must say this book hits the floor running, what I mean is there's enough intrigue and drama to keep your interest. This has the right level of tension from beginning to end. Tornin and Hannah story begins with me reading and turning the pages like a mad woman. These characters are so enjoyable and this is amazing readz, I'm trying to tell you how great it is without spoilers because I think it will take away the suspense of it. Yes it's a paranormal romance but so much more. Okay I'll take breath and tell you about the part you already know, Tornin is a Grizzly bear Alpha who finds his fated mate Hannah who is a twenty-four year old college student whose major is journalism and she wants to be a investigator reporter. Now from here on you need to read the book. But I can say the heat with steam and spice will have you glue to the page. There was also a fantastic supporting cast of characters, they will make you laugh and look sideways at them. I mean I was screaming in my head ( girl don't be crazy you don't believe you can get the best of this man 😂) of course no-one answered me 😂. ARIANA HAWKES had me questioning "Is it the pages or is it me? But in the hands of a skilled writer as she is she made this an enjoyable and sensual read until I got to the ending which came to soon for me. Now not only do we get our fix of bad men and shifters, fantasy and romance, but the raw emotion that is written into this book is unmatched. The pain and torment, and the angst of being scared is so strong and the love between these two are just simply not enough to describe in the length of this book. Ariana does an exceptional job with putting words to and describing things that we all can relate and feel on a cellular level. Whew just know I thoroughly enjoyed the drama, romance and suspense in this book and I'm so excited to readz the next book that I highly recommend this one!!!

From the very first page, Torin grabs you and doesn’t let go. The action starts immediately, but what truly makes this story shine is the depth, heart, and beautifully developed relationship at its center.

Torin and Hannah are absolutely wonderful together. 💕 Hannah is a strong, capable female lead, and I especially loved the way Torin respects her strength, choices, and independence. Their relationship feels sweet and genuine without taking away from the action and conflict surrounding them.

The balance between romance and conflict is perfection. I also loved the way Ariana Hawkes brings the shifter world and the human world together. It feels natural, believable, and so well thought out rather than forced. There are so many subtle storylines woven throughout, and watching them gradually come together is incredibly satisfying.

And that epilogue! ❤️ I absolutely loved how it was written. By the time I reached the final word, everything had come together in a way that left me with that wonderful, happy, I’m so glad I read this feeling.

Torin is action-packed, heartfelt, romantic, and full of characters you can’t help but root for. If you enjoy shifters, strong heroines, swoony romance, and a story where all those little threads eventually come together beautifully, this one is definitely worth adding to your TBR!

And now… I cannot wait for Orson to find his mate! 👀❤️

Hes all fluff

Been counting down to the second book since finishing the first and it didnt disappoint!

He is known as the fun one but since his brother got his mate he has wondered where his is.

She is on the run from a forced mating and trying to expose through hiding crimes. She is run off the road and right into Torin.
Can ahe trust him, can he be what she needs.

Love, loved this book! Roll on book 3.

This was a great read that really started off with drama and tension and had me on the edge of my seat. Hannah, a journalist, gets forced into mating a nasty bear shifter by her father, the sheriff, to shut down her investigation of disappearing women. Luckily, she gets away, only to literally almost run over another one. When Torin shifts into his human form, she figures she's doomed.... I really like how trust and healing happened between Torin and Hannah and how her feelings caught up with his mating instincts, pretty quickly ;P And he certainly respected her strength and independence, making him swoon-worthy. These two had great chemistry and the author did a fab job keeping me glued to my reader to see how everything would come together. Definitely a page turner and a fun read :D
