OMG I loved this one, how awesome that Mae finally has her sights on herself instead of match making someone else...
Why is she so stubborn though, second guessing all the time, she is acting worse then the ladies she has helped!
Doc is acting like a fool, thinking all the wrong scenarios. Everyone is aware of the real one, but him.
When the truth comes to light, the passion makes the skies rumble, literally! This story is more intense than the others, who would have guessed, match maker huh?
Ms. Thorne really knows how to write a story and make the reader read and not want the story to end. I can't wait for more stories.
I was gifted this book for an honest review.

I purchased Attraction as part of the Shifters Forever series.
Attraction is a second chance shifter story; Jake and Mae both lost their mates and have become friends. The friendship is changing for both of them and they need to communicate.
The appearance of a lone polar bear that wants to harm Marti and Dominic brings the Bear Valley shifters together to protect and solve the problem.
Mae faces that she has an elemental to help guide her life along with a role in helping Astra come in contact with her elemental and find a way to be closer to her lost mother.
The Attraction is strong, learning to communicate is the hard part for a second chance couple. I loved the series and look forward to reading more from Ellie Throne in the future.

This novella belongs to Mae and Doc aka Jake.
This one was special for me. Mae has been rebuilding Bear Canyon Valley playing matchmaker but always by herself. Doc is the doctor for the shifter world and has always had a connection with Mae. Both have lost their significant other years prior but are afraid to act on their feelings towards each other. It finally happens! I am so happy they both get their happily ever after.

When a shifter gives the unity bite, it is supposed to tie the two forever. So imagine what happens when two that had lost their mates, now also lost the contact through the unity bite.
This is a dramatic episode, concluding the phase of the Bear Valley shifters.
It has been a very interesting series, enjoyable to the last.
I also have found the narrator's enhancement of the story with the various characters vocalizations adding a further dimension to the tales.

Finally finished Attraction, the last book of the Shifters Forever by Elle Thorne. It was definitely a short series, but I enjoyed it very much!

Mae and Jake have been dancing around their feeling a for a while now. Mae is finally listing to her elemental side and it saved her life. It brings to life what Astra's powers are and now they have to decide what they want to do with it. Jake has to take a leap and be honest about his feelings.

Best of the series. Leaves you with some questions that the author can tie into spin off series, but leaves things tied off enough to leave you satisfied. If you like reading about hot shifters, pick up this series.

Loved it. Finally got to Mae and Jake's story. The anticipation was killing me. I was so glad when these two got there own book. Plus a little drama along the way and some surprises too. It was great. I loved that the other characters were around from previous books

Not genetically, but if humans bonded with shifters, the author gave them gifts. It is absurd, and the entire series is not worth listening to on audiobooks. Everyone has their own preferences, but this has been the worst series I have ever heard.

Many eye rolls and “honestly?!l” while reading books 1-6 but it was on sale so I read them all. Won’t be going forward with these or the spin off. Just fell flat for me.

Jake and May each once loved someone else. That bond was strong enough to make them feel guilty for loving another. Understandable. But it is HOT that Jake got a tattoo....H.O.T.

Now we have reached the conclusion of Shifters Forever. No, the stories do not stop here, if you’ve followed along you realize that there enough threads, not totally resolved issues and guest appearances of other shifters to fuel several spinoff series with established and new characters to add to this amazing world.
In this last story of the main series we finally have Mae and Doc’s (or Jake since that’s his real name) romance. Mae and Jake have been friends for years, each has suffered the loss of their mate. Recently there has been sparks of attraction between them, but neither has really acknowledge it nor acted on it. When Jake declares that he is going to Europe with his daughter and her mate in search of a missing white tiger shifter the heavens split with thunder, lightening and torrential downpours. Most people at the dinner gathering don’t understand the significance of the weather, but Tanner and Teague do. It would seem that those rumors of witchy powers surrounding Mae are true to an extent – she has an elemental, and she knows how to use it, most of the time. And right now Mae and her elemental are pissed off.
The sighting of the polar bear shifter comes more to the forefront as he is discovered in the shifters’ territory again. Now he’s not hiding and his almost attack on Mae has brought out her elemental weaponry. The attack weakens Mae but also allows her to begin to explain to Astra what has been happening to her, as she is showing signs of having an elemental as well. The polar bear issue will be dealt with.
Mae and Jake are mates, they have a second chance at a lifetime of love with a bonded mate. They have to be brave enough to grab that reality and hold on to it for dear life.
Story threads are mostly wrapped up, some scenes have been set for the continuation series and all in all Shifters Forever has been (and still is) an amazing collection of stories that bring these sexy, powerful and intriguing people to life. I have immensely enjoyed my time spent with the residents of Bear Canyon Valley and look forward to the next chapter.
If you love series, adore shifters no matter the animal spirit then I would strongly suggest that you follow the Shifters Forever series and the stories yet to come. It is an imaginative world filled with people who fascinate and entertain… and have a very active sex life. *wink* I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.

Attraction is book 6 in the Shifters Forever series by Elle Thorne. It gives us the story of Bear shifter Jake and human elemental powerhouse Mae.
What started out as friendship has turned into far more between Jake(Doc) and Mae. But neither one sees how the other feels even though everyone around them does. Mae is Bear Canyon's matchmaker extraordinaire. She has made it her mission in life to help others find their way to love ever after. It has worked out perfectly also except for the love of her life. Mae is in love with Jake but thinks he is off limits. Unknown to her Jake is in love with her also. If only they had the courage to tell the other how they feel. And then there is the small problem of Mae's emotions controlling the atmosphere that she keeps secret. Now there is a Polar Bear that has come to town. Could Jake have competition for Mae? If you want to know you'll have to read the book.
This is a great book. It's well written, good pace and has a great story to it. Which by the way I love love love that Mae got her story!!! She's so cute and big hearted. Awww! What an awesome conclusion to this series, although I do believe we will be seeing more of them in the near future, hopefully in a spin-off series. After loosing her mate so many years ago, Mae has fallen in love with her long-time friend, Jake, aka, Doc. She’s not quite sure how or when, but she does know it’s happened. When Kane and Astra announce that they have booked a trip to Europe in order to seek out her long lost best friend, Anya, Doc announces that he’s following them. Secretly, he’s running, running from his heart since he’s come to realize that his best friend, Mae, is his mate. There’s no way he would be able to compete for her love with the spirit of her mate, Brad. Or can he? When trouble arrives to Bear Canyon Valley, and threatens Mae, all bets are off, as Doc’s bear fights for the woman he loves.
Jammed packed with so much excitement and action, as well as a few well-kept secrets that just might come to light, this episode will almost break your heart, or mend it, depending on where on the fence you may sit.

Mae may be human but she is down right scary when she is ticked off. Doc has been friends with Mae for a long time but lately he noticed his feelings have become involved. Not wanting to ruin their friendship he announced he was leaving Bear Canyon Valley and unleashes a side of Mae he has never encountered before. I was happy to see that Mae and Doc got a story. The way they stumbled around not talking about their feelings proves you are never to old to act stupid. I thought it was funny that Doc was so clueless when everyone else could see what he could not. A threat from one of the other couples past is a clever distraction leaving unanswered questions. There was a lot of cleverly place bits of information scattered through out this storyline that I am sure is the foundation for some interesting spin offs. (Hint Hint) My only complaint was that it was short. However, the foundation for their relationship had been laid in the other tales and it was over and I wanted more. There is never a dull moment in Bear Canyon Valley.

Doc and Mae are two of the most beloved characters in Elle Thorne's Shifters Forever series and her Bear Canyon Valley series. Each of them loved and lost their mates. Neither believed they would be lucky enough to find another true mate. They surrounded themselves with the people they loved and spent all their time trying to help them.
Elle has done a fantastic job of writing their story. With these two characters their books had to be something that stood out or the fans wouldn't have condoned it. The fact that she was able to put them together not just as awesome individuals but as an amazingly perfect couple shows her commitment to her characters and her fans. Great job Elle!

WARNING! SPOILERS AHEAD! I was so happy to see Mae and Doc finally find love again after all the heart ache they had been through with losing their mate's. Especially Mae, the match maker of our beloved shifters. There's a lot of important revelations in this final installment of Shifters Forever. Luckily for us, it's not the end of Author Elle Thorne's Shifters Series! I LOVE this book! I love this series! And I love this author!

I was very happy to read Mae and Jake's (Doc's) story. I have loved seeing Mae get everyone else around her together with their mates but kept hoping she would find happiness for herself as well. I was surprised to read that Mae and Jake were each other's match. I knew that they had both loved and lost a mate before but wasn't sure there was enough between them to make a match. I was happy to be wrong in this case. They really were good together once they both stopped second guessing and trying to avoid their future. They make a great pair and I loved getting to see them both find happiness.

Omg! "Attraction" is the last amazing stand-alone in the fan-freaking-tastic, 'Shifters Forever' serial-novel set of 6! ... I loved this so hard, I did not want it to end, leaving me addicted & craving more! :o lol ... Just as each of the stand-alone must reads, this story was unique, with great attention to detail & relatable characters with surprise twists to keep readers engaged & turning pages! I highly recommend this book & this series to 18+ Adults & can't wait to read other books by this talented author!
