Ancient hero Sigurd wants his magic sword back from Loki... The All-Mother wants Sigurd back from Midgard... ...and Loki wants to put a crew together for a caper that'll rock the nine realms.
"Asgardian food is mostly spit-roast haunch of miscellaneous animal. But I find mortal cuisine vastly more exciting. So many different breakfast meats".
Loki continues to be both relatable and fascinating.
I'm actually really pleased that I stayed with this title even though the first 2 issues were a little rough for me.
I am enjoying the clash between the Asgardian realm and present day that can be seem in character dialogue and in the fun and interesting ways the All-Mother contacts Loki.
Young do-good Loki is growing on me but I hope we see more of the old conniving Loki.
This issue felt like the beginning of Ocean's 11. Loki getting a team together to figure out and solve his mission. I loved the feel of this entire issue. As I have said before, something that I love about new Loki is his humor and there's plenty of that throughout the issues as they continue. Though, that doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of serious moment as well.
Something I loved about this issue was that some characters definitely became more important in this issue. It feels like they're setting up fir the rest of the series which makes me ecstatic! One of my complaints about the last issue of Loki: Agent of Asgard was that it was very historical and almost felt like a history lesson. HOWEVER, it was in this issue that I realized how important and prominent that history lesson was because it's all important, especially for this issue.
Overall, everything about Loki: Agent of Asgard makes me smile :)
Snarky Loki is my favorite Loki. Sneaky Loki is also my favorite Loki, but really sneaky and Loki go hand-in-hand, that is just who he is. He is always one step ahead and I love him for it.
This one had it all honesty: domestic loki, Verity, THAT PLOT TWIST WITH MEPHISTO AND THEN LOKI PLOT TWISTING THE PLOT TWIST I loved it. And then loki's recruitment of Thor , amora and lorelei was POWERFUL and so very much exciting for the next issue. This was a good one.

This issue picks back up from #2 when the All-Mother charges Loki with bringing home "ALL those Asgardians choosing to wander Midgard." Loki's already let one Asgardian slip through his fingers and by sheer fortune, another crashes his evening with Verity. Loki returns the oldest Asgardian hero, Sigurd, and after learning the hero's fate, he finds his conscience pricked by the knowledge that what happened was because of him and knowing the same fate could await him and other Asgardians that roam Midgard. Cursed with this knowledge, Loki begins to plot to free the hero he helped to imprison and deliver some of my favorite dialogue of the whole arc. I loved seeing the beginnings of this Loki and Asgard clashing and how Loki assembles his own agents.
I just wanted to read a comic before going to bed so i decided to carry on where I left teen Loki behind. Again, I am falling in love again with the art style, the colours and Loki's witty remarks.
This issue felt largely like filler, because its biggest purpose seemed to be Mephisto's reminder to Loki of the crime done to Kid Loki. (I hope the MCU's Kid Loki gets a better fate.)
Cheeky and entertaining, so light hearted and casual! It's been several years since I last read anything Marvel, but this isn't hard to keep up with at all. They did a very nice job on this series. It doesn't bog you down with years of past novels.
