An exquisite picture book for children explaining the nature of dementia. A young mouse worries that Grandfather's memories will become forgotten for all time: 'I painted pictures of all your stories. I painted and painted until I ran out of pages. I remember covering the hillside with your stories... I worried the memories would drift away without you.'

Simply gorgeous in every way.

This book was nice enough. A specific part of this journey was the character with dementia moving to a home, that might not be everyone's story... and also some of the snippets were really specific. I'm not sure the writing is general enough for most children.
